I was watching The Fast And The Furious the other night and thought how much the racing series seemed like Need For Speed.
I dont know if anyone else has noticed these links.
Underground 1 - The Fast And The Furious.
Most Wanted - 2 Fast 2 Furious (cos they drive in the day for most of the film)
Carbon - Toky Drift (cos of the drifting and the CANYON DUEL)
But then i thought
"I havent seen Need For Speed novels yet"
and i looked on Gamespot for the walkthroughs (having completed them myself). Would writing something that already exists be violating any Copyright Laws?
Please i need to know before i can start writing.

i would have thought the number one product anyone would want would include text and audio.

i am not a great poetry lover, but the difference between reading the words and listening to the the author reading his works [ie dylan thomas] is enormous....

of course if the author doesnt care to speak the words, there are are a great many versatile actors who would do a fine recitation.

i dont see why poetry cd's shouldnt be something a shop like waterstones could have on their shelves.....they sell audio-books as it is.

i would think a lot of people who are busy and dont have a lot of time to read..would love to be able to put on a cd of poetry, while the have to do some mundane chores at home.

does anyone agree?

I am writing a dark fantasy book with a female snake/human creature as the villan. What should I call her? She is very eeeeevil. (The hero is female, her real name is Samantha, and her alias is Shadow. She is like a hated-by-all superhero)

I have read a lot of Deavers books (especially the Lincoln Rhyme books) and really enjoy them. I like a good thriller, is there anyone else out there who reads them as no-one I know does? What do you think? Are there any other authors you could recommend to me on this basis. Thanks.

Aura of the Rose

A single red rose rests upon a grand piano, relishing in its own delicate beauty. The room contains no walls, its boundaries are limitless. A rich, midnight black is present throughout the atmosphere. Though the room exists boundless, the rose possesses a divine aura which blossoms in the eyes of many. It signifies a vast number of things; Loneliness..Hope...Romance..Solitude... Yet, somewhere, with all its meanings, lies a hushed heavenly elegance.

I already am a member of writing.com, but I am looking for someplace else that is easy to use and is free. It would be great if you didn't have to be an adult to post or join. Some place with friendly members and helpful review would be nice.
