Do you think Rowling is going to write Harry Potter 8 and then 9 and so on? (I wish so)

well i also wish so...but that isnt true..rowling is so bent on killing harry that we cant expect her to write another book on harry potter..well moreover she has accumulated enough wealth by writing 7 books that she might not feel the need to continue the series

As much as I wish she was going to, I highly doubt it.
Something, though, that sparks hope in me is that she has said that she doesn't plan on writing anymore. Yet, Rowling didn't say she certainly wouldn't. She just doesn't plan to. Who knows? I can't help doubting it, but... Well, we'll have to see how Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows turns out. Can't wait till June 22nd!
Also, she's likely to write more books from the series, like Quidditch Through the Ages. And, as some previous answerers have suggested, she may write a Harry Potter encyclopedia. Who knows?

No she isn't. She says she has no plans to write another Harry Potter book after the 7th book. The epilogue is in the 7th book that describes what the surviving Harry Potter characters will do with their lives. Harry and Voldemort are going to have their last meeting in Deathly Hallows. I am so excited for the 7th book yet so sad because it will be hard to believe that it is really over!!!!! And finished!!!!!

i wish so too... but i heard long ago that after deathly hallows, a harry potter encyclopedia kind of thing was going to follow.

she said their will be no more books after the seventh book that is why she is thinking about killing harry off so no one can write about him when she finish the last book
