I'm currently reading it right now, and I find it a pretty good book. The only thing I do NOT like is that sometimes you cannot make out the words of what the Scots are saying.
There's history about it where it's actually a true story. When I get to Ireland, I would love to go into further detail with it. Also, I heard that there is a statue of Bobby in one of the parks.
Opinions?

J.K. Rowling, Author of the famous Harry Pottor books is planning to have Harry Pottor killed in the last book. For all you harry pottor fans, and people who have connections, we need to discourage this act. For how would the story go on? How would we know what is going to happen? With all the work and bravery that has happen through the years in the Harry Pottor world, how can this be? What about the profecy? "Neither can live while the other survives"? Wasn't Rowling trying to tell us that Harry was finally going to defeat Voldemort? All of us across America who care about what happens in Harry Pottor need the help of those people with connections. If you care, help us. If your not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

I usually read Fantasy (David Eddings), as well as some Mystery. I don't like authors like Stephen King.
Any recommendations?

I'm looking for an EB-52 megafortress from the Dale Brown novels, not a B-52 stratofortress.

J.K. Rowling said recently that she can understand why authors kill of their main character to prevent any “non-author-written sequels” so my question is if Harry was killed off and you were a low rate author looking to cash in on the Harry Potter phenomenon how would you write book 8?
A couple of ideas I had were Harry Potter the aftermath, a drama with a hint of comedy which follows Harry’s friends as they try to cope with Harry’s demise and try to find someone to replace him and the whole school tries to imitate Harry by dressing the same and wearing Harry’s glasses(the film could have Ronnie Corbett guest appearing trying to fill Harry’s shoes).
Or Harry Potter the revival, (literally), a horror where Harry’s friends search for a forbidden spell to bring Harry back to life but they only manage to bring back his rotting soulless body and they spend the rest of the movie trying to send him back to the grave(good idea for the movies as it has endless possibilities for sequels)
Or Harry Potter the boy that time forget, 3000 years into the future and Harry awakes in a time without magic where science has taken over and Harry has to adapt to his new life and forget about magic until he discovers his arch nemesis has awoken too and the fate humanity lies in his rediscovery of magic, will he prevail?
Well those are my ideas can you come up with any better ideas?

The set came in a green box and a few cards were mailed out on a weekly basis or so. A color picture was on the front and info was printed on the back about the animal. A completed set had hundred's of cards in it. Who made those? Trying to get the same for my son.

I used to read Nancy Drew, but that was several years ago. Now I'm reading Sue Grafton's A-Z mysteries, but I'm almost done with them. The less language, the better, but I can tolerate a little. Less violence and more suspense.

i'm looking for the name of this book i read in the 4th grade. i really liked it so i'd appriciate it if people didn't just answer for points.
this is what it's about:
this boy's mother was a writer. she wrote books about all kinds of things and once she started writing a book about a prince and his family. for some reason, the princes parents had to leave the city and they never came back. then before she can finish the story the woman who was writing the book dies. the prince appears in her sons room. then the whole book goes on about how he lives in our world and at the end he and the author's son manage to get themselves transported into the story, where everyone in the prince's palace has turned into trees. and the longer the price stays there, the more he begins to look like a tree untill hes hardly human anymore even. but they had brought the story's manuscript with them and the prince writes the end of the story and everyone basically lives happily ever after.
