given that cancer is not a disease it it just a cascade effect caused by a flaw in the binary fission of two cells (this is why we age) on a long enough time line every human will develop cancer. thus we could consider cancer to be the natural end of life given it will eventually occur. if we insured that every cellular division was perfect, we would not age and would be in theory (could always redecorate the front of a bus or find some other nasty end) be immortal

Some people (like us) think about the meaning of life and others simply ignore it and don't think about it. Those who don't think about it always seem to be happy all the time. Those like us are brought down and depressed by thinking about the deep questions. Which way of living do you think is better? Is ignoring something to be happy alright?

Anyone dare to try?

How come the British and the colonists had a bad relationship with each other?? What did they do to each other? I know that this was one of the main reasons why it led up to the American Revolution.

Any other fans of one of the strangest writters I've ever read? His stuff's so off the wall. Not strongly based on Physical science, but still really gripping, fun ideas, all with a twist of fatalism.

I was born in 1968 and from what I read -it was the worst year of the 1960's. Both Kennedy and King were assassinated, Vietnam, the Democratic National Convention etc. I find the history of the 1960's very interesting but it seems that 1968 was the best of the worst.
Can someone who experienced the 1960's fill me in on what was it like in America during 1968? What did you go through seeing all these events on T.V.

I have worked with multiple mediums, including making vacuum silicone tooling to reproduce models in castings. I have made sculptures that hung on the White House Christmas tree, by invitation.

Is it stupid to go to a party for this ONE guy or girl? There is this college party and I don't have much in common with the people who are attending the party, but I want to go because of this guy that I find very attractive. He might show up, he may not show up. I don't know. College is all about learning, right? Learning to accept rejection. Hey, it happens to everyone. Disappointments are a part of life. He may meet me and lose his interest in me because we are completely different. I don't know much about him, but I am drawn to him.... He's hot.

God created us and we created... destruction. To prove it, we go to church every we drink his child's blood... let me be more clear here, l mean all week we do what 'satin' would want us to do. But at the end of the week we clean ourselves with blood bath of a scape goat known as Jesus.
What is the point... of this pretending. Nobody cares about religion and why should they? We have already Killed The God!
My question is where should we create Tomb for our Creator? And Who will be our Next God?

You say I'm you're true love, but you must go your own way I can't stop you and I will not beg you stay. Cuz I'm you're true love I just want you to know, I'll be there, if you come home.
I know you're leavin' and I wish you well I hope you'll find another who can pick up where I've failed, cuz if I'm your true love I want you to know I'll be here if you get home.
I love you truly, but I must set you free. All I ask is that you sometimes think of me. Cuz I'm your true love I want you to know I'll be here if you come home.
I will be waiting, I will be waiting til you come home.

My Teacher Ate My Homework
My teacher ate my homework,
Which I thought was rather odd.
He sniffed at it and smiled
with an approving sort of nod.

He took a little nibble --
it's unusual, but true --
then had a somewhat larger bite
and gave a thoughtful chew.

I think he must have liked it,
for he really went to town.
He gobbled it with gusto
and he wolfed the whole thing down.

He licked off all his fingers,
gave a burp and said, "You pass."
I guess that's how they grade you
when you're in a cooking class.
