I am an Artist and I make 3D models both in math and real life. How can I find commissions to make Sculptures?

I have worked with multiple mediums, including making vacuum silicone tooling to reproduce models in castings. I have made sculptures that hung on the White House Christmas tree, by invitation.

Shouldn't you be asking this question of art museums, schools of art who have professors of rennown such as Yale , Moderm Museum of Art?You have sculptures which they could view. Aren't there dealers of items in your media? It would appear that you would have better luck there than on the internet.

Depending on the direction you want to go, certainly you should contact galleries that carry sculpture in your area. Galleries fall into two major categories-fine art and decorative. Depending on your style and interest, you should look at both.
You should also look in the Yellow Pages for Model Making and Display Making companies. These serve businesses by making sales or demo models in the first case and show displays for conventions, conferences, etc. in the second. Working for them will not preclude doing more artistic work and will, perhaps, expose you to a wider range of media. put advertisements out that you are available to do rapid prototyping work. I am sure there are companies which are too small to hire one person for this, and they would be happy to have you do their modeling for you. There are already companies who perform this service, but I don't think too many.
Otherwise architects usually employ people to make 3D models of the buildings they propose. I had a great 3D studio Max teacher who earned the main of his living this way.
If you want to get your own design out, then contact galleries with your portfolio (an online portfolio is by now probably OK with most of them) and see who will take you on.
