Is it stupid to go to a party for this ONE guy or girl? There is this college party and I don't have much in common with the people who are attending the party, but I want to go because of this guy that I find very attractive. He might show up, he may not show up. I don't know. College is all about learning, right? Learning to accept rejection. Hey, it happens to everyone. Disappointments are a part of life. He may meet me and lose his interest in me because we are completely different. I don't know much about him, but I am drawn to him.... He's hot.

Well I've never had a boyfriend or been on a date. I liked the attention, plus I have hormones. If he is as sweet and caring as my unattractive guy friends then I am in heaven. I try to set my expectations low so that I don't get hurt.

Again, I am not the wide party type.

Go, if he isn't there, leave. If he is but doesn't talk to you, leave. If he is there and does talk to you, sweet. There's nothing wrong with checking out the party, it's not like you have to stay if you don't like it.

You might read "Soul Mates and Twin Flames," Elizabeth Clare Prophet," "Sexual Force or the Winged Dragon," O. M. Aivanhov, "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, and "University of Destruction," David Wheaton.

It's not stupid to go to a place where "he" might be. However, it is probably somewhat stupefying to drink, etc. a lot while there, and wait around if he doesn't show up midway. It might save you time and loud noise if you showed up an hour into the thing, and left an hour later, if he doesn't show up.

If he doesn't know you exist, maybe Facebook or MySpace has some connecting friend?

regards,

j.

Go to the party. Stay even if he is not there. You would be surprised by the type of people you meet when it involves a crowd you normally don't hang out with.

If you're not the party type (I'm fairly shy, so pretty uncomfortable in a crowd frull of strangers) I wouldn't go, you'll be miserable. I've done that in college and when my guy got busy with his buddies, I knew nobody there, and I'm not a bit social person. You'll run into him other ways.

No, it is not stupid. College is probably the only place where you have infinite chances to meet people you want to meet and end up meeting others by chance.

Hmm... if its one guy you're interested in, then I would suggest meeting him one-on-one instead of at a party. Ask him out.
