i'm making shirts using acrylic paint.. some of them i use my airbrush gun.

i know that acrylic paint will stain the shirt but will the shirt lose a little bit of color the first time you wash it? or will it spread the color around?

Once dry acrylics will not bleed. They will however fade slowly. You are using acrylic fabric medium I hope? This will improve the result very much.

You will need to thin it out. I haven't liked it through my airbrush (sucks to clean it) but it would be ok. As far as Tshirts-my jeans with acrylic stains would testify to it being fairly permanent but airbrusj paint is made for tees and such. If you have a craft store nearby like Micheals they carry small units of many colors-i would take the time to find that

there is a type of paint made for arbrushing on cloth. its opaque so it blends perfectly. its an opaque textile paint with the brand BADGER air-tex, specially made for airbrushing. i suggest you use them, it would give a better effect and wont clog your airbrush.
