What type of person are you, a leader, a follower, a sheep (one who goes along with the crowd) or an individual.

It seems these days that only a few people under the age of 25 or there abouts have anything even approaching individuality, many just like to hang around in groups, drink and 'hook up'. They listen to the same music and read the same material, eat the same food, drive the same cars, they even seem to go out of their way to look the same.

So my question is, what type of person are you?
A leader, an individual who leads or separates themselves for the pack (Non-Conformists/Rebels are not part of this group – many times non-conformists/rebels are following a sub-culture trend).

Or are you a follower, a sheep, one who goes along with the crowd and does what everyone else does.

Do you wish that you could be different – on the other side of the fence?

Please explain why you think you are this way inclined, what in your past and in your social circles has helped or hindered you into this position?

Thanks.

What do you think about this? Can every single move we make really make a difference for our future...in our history? As it is said by Thomas Carlyle in "The Hero as Divinity," No great man lives in vain. The history of the world is but the biography of a great man." Also, Leo Tolstoy said, "In historic events, the so-called great men are labels giving names to events and like labels they have but the smallest connection to the event itself." When I read these qoutes from our history book, I was suddenly deep in thought, wondering all about how man can really affect history. And so, I thought of this question...what are your thoughts and answers?

Did anyone else hate it? How did an epic poem become such a piece of poorly done crap? Beowulf killed Grendel's mom he didn't sleep with her. How dumb does Hollywood think we are? Yes the 3D style was great but the story is a travesty. There is a major difference between deviating from the original book and making a perverse mockery of it. At this point I am GLAD the writers are on strike. I don't miss any of them.

The intro to my essay:

In Washington’s farewell address, he forewarned the future generation about the severe splitting of views in American government. Above all people, he probably meant it most for two men, Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton. The struggle for balance between liberty and power pervaded throughout the Adams administration, and we still strive for it today. Development of political factions in early America was the biggest challenge, which also prevented greater things from being done. Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton fought over subjects of economy, power among the citizens, and the limits of government power, and this rivalry escalated to terrible distortions of each party’s intentions. If Hamilton and Jefferson had gotten together to discuss their interests, there wouldn’t be so much conflict, and they would have come to a conclusion sooner.

“Just Friends”

When the moon comes out gleaming, it reminds me
Of your beauty, so enchanting, when the sun
Arises with the dawn, it’s singing our song.
When I’m sad and depressed, and my life feels
Like a mess, what am I to do except
Trust in you, just being with you brightens my
Day without any way for me to repay.
What I feel inside is what you could
Never deny, the power that over-
Whelms me, the power only you
Could see, I wish you knew how I feel,
I wish you knew that it’s a big deal.
We’re “just friends”, I want that to end, I want
You to know I want so much more, do I
Have to show you how much my heart’s sore, do
I have to buy dozens of roses, do
I have to make promises or proposes?
Although I’m very happy with what I got, to ruin
A good thing going… I really rather not, if being
“Just friends” my only chance to be with you
I guess my only chance is that my dream
Will come true, until you announce your love
For me, by your side I’ll always be!

this is how it should be
this is the life i deserve
this is my curse
this is my fate
all these i must endure
for i have sinned
i have offended
i have defiled thee
i must pay dearly
redeem thy soul
with tears and blood
until my heart stops...
to my very last breath..
there will only be...
sorrow and pain
peace unfounded
all my fears
shall find me unguarded
til the moment of my own death.
Dear God i seek thee
FORGIVE ME!

im a junior in high school and im thinking about becoming a professional stage manager or something in professional theatre. ive done a lot of tech work in my high school shows, but i was wondering 2 things.

1. will money be a big concern. my current vision of the professional theatre is that i work a job and then go look for another one, like a bohemian and thats something i dont want to be (after what i saw in RENT). is what i saw really the professional theatre world

2. if i do take that path what are some good classes in high school and college to take. like right now im in some AP classes but should i focus on maths next year or should i focus on english or even history( for if im like trying to get a feel for a certain time period)

ANY information will help, i really dont know what to do with the rest of my life.

I rung the authorities as animals run up the post and I have lost my power twice because of it. So they came round today and put a little yellow sign on the post.

Do you think the little yellow sign is effective?

How do the animals read it?

Am i pretty?
