Did anyone else hate it? How did an epic poem become such a piece of poorly done crap? Beowulf killed Grendel's mom he didn't sleep with her. How dumb does Hollywood think we are? Yes the 3D style was great but the story is a travesty. There is a major difference between deviating from the original book and making a perverse mockery of it. At this point I am GLAD the writers are on strike. I don't miss any of them.

No,but they twisted Gladiator as well.They have an agenda to inculcate into hapless minds you know.Plus,there are no Dashiell Hammet's left in Hollywood.50 year old people saying "I'm soooo not going there" or "chill baby".C'mon,there are a few of us that are still intellectuals with a decent vocabulary in this world.

I haven't seen it but I agree with you completely. You just have to ask yourself: How many people who see the movie will also have read the story within the last 10 years?

It's too bad you didn't stay to get your moneys worth! I was looking forward to seeing the movie...now I think I'll wait for the video to come out.
