Since I got my external flash, I've seen lots of these flash accessories by lumiquest and other manufacturers

Once is the sto-fen that looks like a piece of tupperware I put at the end of the flash. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00078JT0C/sr/ref=pd_cp_p_2/104-7074266-3124713?ie=UTF8&qid=1192644885&sr=1-4&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_r=1THCJC06NXCDK7RDT0T3&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=250314001&pf_rd_i=B000QD392C

Another is the pro-max system, particulary the 80/20 device that bounces 80% of the light and throws 20% of it forward
http://www.amazon.com/LumiQuest-System-Lumiquest-Promax/dp/B00009XW5J/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=photo&qid=1196180004&sr=1-1

My Question:
Are these devices worth it? I'm no professional, but I'd like to make my shots look as best as possible without fancy equipment. I also shoot lots of indoor shots at parties and other events.

What is your opinion on them?

A simple question. I have put the canvas fabric onto the stretcher. Do I really need to paint white vinyl coating? Or any coating? Cause I don't have any.

Can I paint acrylic paint on the canvas without it?

Cafe Euwaite

Neon OPEN sign tilts in the window,
Torn green umbrella, flower pots empty,
Café Macabre lunchtime special prices,

Remade soup d’jour, chilled bat brain compote,
Salad of new mown hay with salt water,
Mocha Represso, bad telling tea leaves,

Nameless meat sandwiched with wilted lettuce,
Condiments thick red, flavorless mustard,
Jellied desert, brown mounded form,

How much, the tab for this indigestion?
And the tip for the author, “Find a profession.”

Destinations

Maps cannot show where the road doesn’t go,
To places mistaken for paradise,
Oasis of spaces, lofty plateaus,
Of valueless vanity sacrifice,

Faces collide,
Fratricide follows,
And wallows in pride,
Having lied and gotten away with it,

I try to deny that I asked God why,
And wished every time, to hear a reply,
I’ve said all the words and read all the books,
Maps cannot show where the road doesn’t go.

Obsidian

Dry grass rustles, dampening senses,
Ears twitch at every snapped twig.
Resting in rows, leery of hunters
Bow and arrow, deadly silence.
Send the fawns scurrying.
There, in the corm, thinly disguised,
See the gleam in his eyes.
Whispering chert,
Strikes and burrows.
Stagger away, to the forest.
Who are these new predators on this land,
These uprights, this carnivorous man?

Dream Machine

Humm…buzz…ding ding ding
Oh what a beautiful thing, ding ding
Lookout world, here comes me
Ridding along on
On my dream machine

With a monotonous ring, ring, ring
Spitting oil, gas and steam
Ding ding ding ding ding
Oh my…what
A colorful scene

Skies of brown, seas of pink
Oh what a beautiful thing
Fish are floating in the sea
Don’t blame me
Ding ding ding ding
