You can buy an adapter to mount the Nikon lens to a Canon. It will not couple to the metering system so you'll have to use "stop down metering" and manual focus. If you don't know what "stop down metering" is then you should probably just use a Canon lens on your Canon camera.

No. the lens mounting is not compatible between the Canon and Nikon brands.

Fuji DSLRs will mount Nikon lenses.
Panasonic and Samsung DSLRs mount the Olympus lenses.
Sony DSLRs will mount the Konica-Minolta lenses.

See whether it fits or not. If not, then you require an adapter,which you'll find in any photographic store.With adapter in place, the zoom lens would fit and work comfortably .
