I'd say she uses a professional photographer.

I use a Nikon CoolPix 995 which has a part with the screen that pivots all the way around so you can aim the lens at your face (or the people around you) and look the image and frame it. See my avatar. Swivel is also useful for taking pictures directly over a table or off a ledge, etc.
The model is now an older one, but cameras with separate screens that swivel are made by others.

it doesnt matter what camera is used, cameras are only as good as their user
Kiki is shot by pros, they use what ever camera/lens/lighting will do the job best, shes waife and anarexic looking, they use a wide angle on some of the shots of her i have seen to excentuate her look.
get any camera with a timer function on it, add some lights and make some self portraits - use a wide zoom up close if you want that strange look in some of her shots
any 5mp. 3x+ opitical zoom point n shoot can achieve the shots of her i have seen, some may require DSLR cameras - canon and nikon are the choise of pros
so any camera will do it really, use heaps of the make up she does, use some strobes or lighting of some sort and get a shooter to shot you, her shots are not self portraits

Just about any camera will do, specifically one that isn't very expensive and is small. Like your phone. Duh.
