I think it was a mother-of-pearl chair, and a gown....... I saw it at the Reagan Museum...... Was that authentic?

Reagan Museum officials wont lie about it. Of course, if they had been lying Phillipines would have objected. Popular history is not distorted like that. It sonly in india that some people argue that Taj mahal was made by some Hindu King. Stupids!!

No, they made up the whole story and just put it out there to impress the yokles. Why would a famous lady give another famous lady a chair and a gown, surely she has her own chairs and gowns?
Of course they are authentic, sheesh.
