Good defines our higher Self.

We intuit Good as Plato, via under-standing, and as Plotinus, per One Mind Soul-realization.

Close to this is Yogananda's Self-realization protocol, http://www.yogananda-srf.org "Autobiography of a Yogi."

Also worth reading: "Climb the Highest Mountan," Mark Prophet, "The Path of Virtue," Jonathan Murro, "The Knowledge of the Tree of Good and Evil," O. M. Aivanhov.

kind regards,

j.

Good is value, it is quality, it is morality.

it is not a 'thing' it is an EVENT!

it is the event at which the subject becomes aware of the object. Good is not the result of the subjects and the objects the very existence of all subjects and all objects is deduced from good, it is the cause of the subject and the object which are then mistakenly presumed to be the cause of Good.
Good is the primary reality it's it is itself father of all definition, we only separate 'things' from one another due to quality.

Pirsig, my other dad, wrote:
"the sun of quality does not revolve around the subjects and objects of our existence it does not just passively illuminate them. It is not subordinate to them in any way. It has created them. they are subordinate to it"

GOOD is the correct spelling of the word GOD; lots of people just got beguiled by low quality self-serving social patterns called religions into thinking otherwise.

All things created by our Creator is good. To define good we look to God.
Can't get any better than that.

I loosely define good as acts that are deliberately altruistic, and evil as those which are deliberately selfish.
An objective good doesn't exist, as the ideas of good and evil are products of people's minds.
By my definition, your question is too short to be a good question; you are expecting people to put more time and effort into their answers than you put into your question.

Good deals with the idea of dissolving the barriers between self and others. It is changing our very being to where we go from seeing our relationship with others as an "I - it" relationship to an "I - thou" relationship. It is where the Golden Rule is unnecessary because we can hardly distinguish the needs of self from the needs of others.

Good is a goal which we cannot achieve in our lifetime but it is where we ought to be heading.

Collectively we have agreed to some specific judgments of good. Saving life is good, destroying life is bad; that which creates is good, that which destroys is bad. It goes on from that point and can be turned around to justify anything. Good unites, lifts-up, makes whole, heals and bad does the opposite.

A category of action or decision which results in one of three things:

1. Helps/goes towards the goal of the survival of the human race as a whole or individual humans. i.e. no murder
2. Goes towards the goal of achieving happiness for oneself (which is the meaning of life in my opinion)
3. Goes towards the goal of achieving happiness for others (which is part 2 of my meaning of life)

*Note: This may also be applied to going towards these goals for other living organisms.

Good is having high moral qualities and being an unblemished . To be good is one thing but to be perfect is much harder.
Being good also makes a person feel happy inside their soul.

In my own opinion, we can't call anybody good on earth, only one is good, It is God himself and nobody else. Good means having desirable qualities; kind; moral; honorable. It also mean authenticity, truth, a proof of ones achievements in life without corruption...
