i read twilight, new moon, eclipse, the sweep series, wicked, and a lot more.. i wanna a book thats about vampires, witches or magic. anything that will keeep me reading. i dont mind if the books are big like harry potter as long as they keep me awake.

William Duke of Normandy won the Battle of Hastings. he was fighting Harold the second of England. I think William had a better chance of winning because Harold's soliders marched from the south of England to York (North) and fought a battle and walked back down to the south of England to fight another battle. The Normans had many tricks which they played several times and these tricks suceeded. All in all, Harold died and William Duke of Normandy won the throne!

I want to know what's this poem about ? And what are the two major imageries ? and the poet's attitude towards love and death .cauz it's really confusing to me
"love wounds with heat as death with cold

why did the chinese come to britain in the 19th century? any dates? and how did they get here. i have some simple answers, but if anyone would like to give a more detailed account on things such as - the government, the laws, and the world wars. im a young teenager so please can the answers be understandable! thanks.

Okay people so for the sake of an assignment. In the readings that from my text book, John Calvin basically says that people who wish to be religious have to believe that their lives are predestined by God. For those that are not religious and use free will are condemned to hell.

and in the readings of John Locke, he basically says that humans have free will. whats in our heads didn't come from anywhere else but his senses and his mind.

What do you guys think, Do you agree with locke, or calvin, and why, and just what do you believe about free will.!

I forget what the name of the person that made the prediction, but in the preview it had a lot of people putting up signs saying "the end is near" the end of the world" and stuff like that and a narrorater said "he saved his biggest prediction for last". It was on the history channel, but I didn't watch it and I don't really know when it's coming on again and I would need to look for my history channel scince I don't watch it often.

What was his biggest prediction? That the end of world's coming? (like it would only God knows). When would this "big" prediction come? How? (if you would know).

Sometimes it seems like I can't put down the guitar for days at a time....other times two weeks can go by without me picking up the guitar. I stopped taking lessons at 18 (after 8 years of lessons), so I only really play when I want to. Do you practice daily or are you like me and do you go through periods in your life where you don't play like me?

Actually I notice the periods when I don't play is when things are going really well...its when I'm feeling down that I can escape into the guitarworld.

I know all players are different I just want to know if other people are like me.
