Poem - Ebony Sky - Comments?

An ebony sky as the sun shines
Hail stones striking as the wind falls
Endless perverse happenings
The world is a trampoline

Where are the climbing jasmine
A name is called
The letter cannot be opened
The news requires exertion

A scent is detected and remembered
Love taught me to die
There is no amusement
Direction is obscured by the ebony sky

why is it that one is ostrasised for even hinting at Enoch powels prophecyy?

the very mention of the 'rivers of blood'speech,costing powel his political career,and incidently came true in'80.81,82 and will hapen again,my grandad was a15 yr old soldier in ww1,a para in ww2,that poor man would turn in his grave to see the garbage and destruction of our land waht 2 mighty German armies failed to achieve.what a tragedy

Looking to start home-based photography business?

I'm thinking I may want to start a home-based photography business in the next couple years - weddings, senior pictures, things like that. I was wondering if anyone had any advice/recommendations. I know I'll need a professional quality digital camera, an office in my home, good photo editing software, and maybe some set ups for pictures. I'm kind of confused, when you use a digital camera, and edit online, where do you get the prints from? Do you order them online? Do you order them from a photolab? Any advice/recommendations will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Is intellectual curiosity an endangered specie?

It seems that as a society, we are more and more geared towards informations that either a) reinforces our status or b) Has some sort of direct use to us or c) Are geared to winning points in an argument.
A lot of people don't seem to even understand questions that are rooted in pure curiosity and attempt to find the hidden meaning of them in terms of utility. Whatever happened with just wanting to know?

I’ve waited all my life… (i just wanted to share this poem with everyone)?

I’ve waited all my life…
To cross this line,
To be a lady so fine,
But it’s just too late a time.
I have to see you hurting,
With these two eyes of mine,
With this broken heart of mine.

I’ve waited all my life…
To find this person I am,
To praise my God for all I have,
But it’s just too late a time.
I have to see you hating me,
Not trusting me anymore,
Not in love with me anymore.

I’ve waited all my life…
To love you with all my heart,
To save us from going apart,
But it’s just too late a time.
I have to see you leaving me,
In my worst nightmare,
In a life I could not bear.

--->i know this is not really great, but i just need to let out the negative feelings that i have through this poem. I feel a lot better after writing this piece! ;-)

Are all your desires and emotions genetically programmed into you, so what you imagine to be that unique, special 'ME' is actually more or less the same 'me' as everyone is experiencing.
