to me, your individual spirit, along with environment and genetics,
the environment influences how your personality in the early years starts developing, and its complicated. a positive situation may bring out good strong parts of your personality, but so can a negative upbringing.
genectics seems to play a role, how often do you see/hear of someone with a personality just like a relatives, perhaps even a grandparent or great grandparent? that is what i find interesting, that two people can be so alike, yet born in different times and environments, but who knows? as i am sure there are similar personalities born into other families

all in all, i would say your individual spirit forms your personality, as you can see in even newborns often a distinct type,
and the biggest plus a person can have is being born into a family that accepts their own individual personality, whether it matches the family or their culture

I believe as a child you begin to gain personality from your family the most, as a teen you begin to gain personality through your friends the most and as an adult you being to gain personality through your significant other the most.

All of these are the key factors towards your personality.
Work I find is a secondary considering it influences your stress levels making you seem more angry at time as well as your community making you feel a certain way.

Emotion creates personality.

Both environment and genetics. Consider how your parents raised you, your family history, your teachers and peers, life experiences, where in the world you live... If you endured a trauma, that can obviously affect your personality tremendously.

Experience is the most involved because when you know something you change your opinions about it so do you change your personality, too.

Events change you too because when bad things have happened to you, you do not feel nice and your personality turns sour and unhappy or the contrary.

Personality is an illusory character based upon the "ideas" that you believe true, about yourself. Your "ideas" about yourself are no more true than the "ideas" you have developed about others!
