"If we are in the middle of 'nowhere', then technically; aren't we half way to 'somewhere'?"

Does this make sense? I would like to believe so.

"The Hindu Upanishads speak of three types
attitudes - Satwa Guna, Rajo Guna and Tamo Guna.
Rajo Guna means excess thinking than what is
needed. Projects with over confidence are the most
susceptible to unexpected damage. Tamas means
darkness. Tamo Guna person can not assure any
thing. He treats things as if they are dreams. At
times, he goes through extremist methods to make
his projects successful - like the adventures in
dreams. Satwa Guna person keeps his confidence on
practicality. He goes through all details allowing
negative and positive possibilities. He speaks of
the viability of the project but never assures
with full confidence. He is successful most
of the times.

In a world of n number of unexpected and unknown
possibilities, how can any one be absolutely be
confident of his project?"

Three dimensional 3D photography is claimed "too old".
But flat 2D photography is even older, and there is no 4D photography, and just scientific teories are existent about further dimensions.

Can someone please give me a paragraph or two on an analysis of George Washington ? What was it about him- personal qualities? High standards? He isn’t know to have been brilliant(in an intellectual sense), but perhaps he was the wisest (arguably most important) of our presidents.

If someone could please write a analysis of him for me that would be amazing!

Thanks in advance
-Sean

I love reading but I don't know what book to read next. I liked the Series of Unfortunate Events, To Kill a Mockingbird, Jane Eyre, Artimis Fowl, White Fang, and the Sea Wolf. What books would you recommend?

The winds have blown,
the dust is risen,
i continue to walk on.
My surrondings stir,
I follow my heart,
and onward goes my path.
It twist and turns,
it drops off and restarts,
where it leads i have no idea.
i want to give up,
I have no more drive,
that has kept me going all this time.
I begin to cry,
and i fall to my knees,
i just can not follow this path.
Its led me through all my darkest times,
but it continues to bring me more.
It started out bad,
and just got worse,
but somehow ive just kept walking.
Not knowing where to go,
not knowing who to trust,
I wonder who is on my side.
My friends just stare,
then they look away,
almost as if they had just condemed me.
Is this how my life should really be?
with no where left to turn.
If you know an answer,
to this question i face,
Than for God's sake tell me now.
Or else i fear i've lost all hope,
and my path will surely end.

.. btw: I'm not thinking suicidly right now.. this poem just came to my mind..

Do you like the so called "happy ending" of the story? White Fang saves his master's dad's life ?? The Fighting Wolf finally becomes a beloved and respected member of a human family ? Don't you think it would be better if White Fang returns to the Wild world and becomes a real wolf again---free, self reliant, and unbeatable.

When was the novel published ? Would today's American writers handle subjects like this as Jack London did ? Do you like his thoughts on human crimes as expressed in this novel? What else did Jack London write? Was he also a crime story writer?

How did an escalating “arms race” between the 2 world super powers (USA/USSR) lead us to the brink of WWIII and how was that “war” avoided?
