No, because nowhere doesn't exist, if you were there, then it wouldn't be nowhere it would be somewhere. Which means you would be in the middle of somewhere.

No, it doesn't make sense. "The middle of nowhere" is an expression that indicates being far away from a city or any other geographical place that you would use as a point of reference. "The middle of nowhere", as commonly used, really is somewhere. It's just not a place to which people go normally.
The statement can't really make sense unless "somewhere" and "the middle of nowhere" mean something. You can be in the desert in Arizona ("the middle of nowhere") and be half-way to, for example, Phoenix. On its own, though, the statement has no real meaning.

Have you ever been in the middle of Nowhere?
You may be half way between somewhere and something, but it's still a very long way.

If we're in the middle of nowhere then we ARE in the middle of nowhere, us being halfway to somewhere depends on where this nowhere is. The "middle" may not actually be the real middle.

You can be in the middle of nowhere and be content to stay there; therefore you're not "halfway to somewhere." However, if you're in the middle of nowhere and are on the move, then you could very well be "halfway to somewhere."

Nope. Since you have no idea where you are at that point how can you possibly know you are half way there.
