Can someone please give me a paragraph or two on an analysis of George Washington ? What was it about him- personal qualities? High standards? He isn’t know to have been brilliant(in an intellectual sense), but perhaps he was the wisest (arguably most important) of our presidents.

If someone could please write a analysis of him for me that would be amazing!

Thanks in advance

George Washington was a great leader. He may have only won four of thirteen major battles during the Revolutionary War but he earned loyalty and commitment to duty that won the War. Despite strategic retreats and heavy losses he kept morale up and prepared well for long campaigns. He also was a good judge of character and attracted great lieutenants.
As President, he unified leaders with extreme differences of direction and maintained a strong and unified stances towards outside influences. He helped the States realize their confederation had permanent value and was not just a temporary alliance.
His personal character was an inspiration. He was unselfish, honest, and principaled. He could be harsh and spiteful but only towards people that did things to deserve disapproval.
