For an essay we are supposed to: 1)either agree or disagree with the following statement: "Piety is an essential part of human goodness. That is, a person who is an atheist lacks some crucial human goodness that only a belief in God can provide." I was going to disagree with this but we have to give reasons supporting our decision and the only one I can come up with is that I know people who don't believe in God and they are still good people. Anyone have any other reasons this statement isn't true?
Also, we have to 2) write how we might see Socrates' challenge to Euthyphro as a challenge to this view
If anyone can help me out with one or both of these parts I would greatly appreciaite it! Thanks :)

(if there was no such a thing as money at all) would it be a nice world where people would all be nice to each other and treat every1 the same or would it all be just insanity and a world of distruction?

If I had a picture
I'd buy a glass frame
So I could break it

If it was raining
I'd hide the umbrella
And lock the door

If I had money
I'd buy a new house
With only one key

If I had a cold
I'd cough and sneeze
Without a tissue

If I had hemlock
I'd water it
And put it in a vase

If I was crazy
I'd commit murder
And get a lawyer

God's Anjel
Written by Semper Fi Reborn

Out of destitution and strife,
Is born a delicate rose.
With wisdom and purity,
To share.
Where would we be without you?
To watch over us,
God commands you.
As a faithful servant you come forth.
You bow before our God of Heaven,
The Everlasting Amen!
The Living Church has given you wings.
Fly over the Earth,
Bring My people unto me, saith the Lord!
Amen! By Your Will O' God,
Replies the Anjel!

Fear not, the Lord is with you.

I see that there is a common hidden teaching in all three of the Holy Books of the Jews, Christians and Muslims. Since a little boy I have been lead to believe that we all would come closer to the truth if we focused on what we have in common instead of our percieved differences.

There are plenty of people who wish to exploit the different perspectives of each of the faiths. I only want to exploit the things we have in common.

Please if you want to denigrate another persons religion there are leigions who will support you in that. Go to them to share those ideas. Here, please only focus on what good we have in common. Things like the worship of one God. Good deeds. Teachings of love. Things like that. I will select the answer that exploits the most teachings that are common to all three. Any negative feed back about anothers faith or religion will disqualifiy your entry.

Good Luck. Move forward in love!

we just returned from the NY museum of modern art. i'm fascinated that the public can go right up to some of the most famous paintings in the world with nothing protecting them. i mean, some wacko could easily destroy them if he wanted to. what if some, innocently enough, sneezed on "starry night" by van gogh? it just boggles my mind.

"The Revolution fundamentaly transformed American society. In the immediate aftermath of the the Revolution we abandoned monarchy and aristocracy in favor of a radically democratic form of government; we shed the economic institutions of the colonial era; and we overthrew the old social order, putting in its place a system of social equality the like of which the world had never seen."

Is there a template one can use to decide what is most important to them? Are there any guidelines to make sure one covers all the bases? I am looking to make a sort of moral code, defining what I believe is right and wrong. Thank you for the help.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

Mourners

Final prayers have been said.
Hugs given, tears shed.

Their pieties performed, they turn to go,
Yet everyone among them has to know
That they'll be back again another day
But will not have the skill to walk away.

I'm gonna be going to a basketball game tomorrow, and I'm just wondering which of these two would be the better choice for taking action shots?

And also, any tips for taking better action shots?

Thanks in advance! :]

I am aditioning for my school play and trying out for a dancer. I'm athletic and pretty flexible but have never really taken a dance class before...So, do you have any ideas about how to train and or get prepared for my audtion. I'm dancing to "almost lover" and it's kind of an iterpretive piece. I do a lot of leaps and twurls...then i fall to the ground and spring back up. It's kind of got a dramatic/comedic vibe. ANy suggestions to what to what it needs? PLease respond...every opinion matters!!!
