The phrase.... Love is Blind... is so very true. When we love someone we easily over look imperfections. We sometimes can not see the truth when it is standing in front of us. Why? Because we want to believe that our emotions haven't tricked us. But they usually do. When you feel a deep love for someone, you know that you want to believe them... You want to believe IN them...to have faith that whatever they tell you is the truth. Unfortunately, sometimes having this much faith and love in someone only serves to hide the truth.

When you pray God show me the truth, and he decides you need to see it. It can be difficult even then to believe that you've been had. So is it bad to believe in others? No... never stop believing, however, do not stick your head in the sand and not accept what you know is true. You can only over look so many lies before you know that it's never going to change.

When you hear lie after lie and are told, to avoid doing things because in his opinion it's best for you. That best for you is a simple way of control. If he begins to tell you to not talk to others.... to stay off the Internet and to not believe what you can plainly see in front of you... wake up.... he's afraid you'll dig a bit too deeply and destroy his world as he knows it. If out of the blue, you get an im or an email telling you things you have a tough time believing... Take a minute or two to ask, could it be this woman/man actually know this is true?

There are men and women on the Internet who are predators. They prey on innocent people who may be lonely or just very optimistic that you can find a decent loving soul in this cyber world. Be cautious...don't jump too quickly into trust. Allow them to earn it. Don't tell them too much, hold back a bit... If they say things that seem a bit off the wall, listen carefully from that point on. Chances are it's not true. If they start telling you to stay off the Internet, that they've found the One, they've been searching for. That's a control tactic to keep you from seeing that they are on sites looking for others. If you find such a person who is preying on innocent people, always down on their luck and asking to borrow...wake up...move on... they are just trying to begin a long and difficult process of bleeding you dry... when they know you've fallen in love... you are theirs.. and they will take and take until you wake up and realize sometimes too late... you've been had... Love is Blind.

There are predators... I have found two in just three short years. I am beginning to believe there's a magnet that is attracting them to me. I am open for constructive criticism to learn how to better protect myself. If you'd like to know the screen names of the individuals whom have taken me .. by all means, ask. I have nothing to hide, but they will continue to earn their living off of unsuspecting men and women.

He may say.... never talk about me, you can yell at me or say anything to my face, but never talk to others about me. Wonder why? I now know. He is making a living lying to kind hearted souls and taking. My credit card paid for so much for him, and in doing what I have been instructed to NOT do, I have learned that others have paid for the same things I have. With cash... so yeah, you can make a decent living off of others...

God is watching... he's marking this in his book... and when you stand before me and preach to me... God is listening, he hears how you are using HIM for your gain... When you open your mouth and you find that you no longer know what the truth is... smiles... you've finally hit bottom. I believe lying is a type of addiction, you have to keep telling more and more to feed the monster within that fails to allow you to see the simple truth. One day you will find your match.... and when you do, you will know, God is with her and her strength with his is not going to be a hill of beans to your lies.

I have often pondered why would an intelligent society have planned obsolescence incorporated into the design of there equipment, I mean don't you think it would be a much better world to live in if we never ever had to change a light bulb, or if our automobile plastic dash boards, air vents, or window cranks would not break.

I myself remember not long ago when automobile window cranks were made with sturdy metal gears and never failed, and now they use plastic gears just so they will fail on purpose, so what do you think about it.

I'm one of those people that just seems to be lost in life. I did ok in school but according to an IQ test (not a cheap on-line test=P) I am a genius. Huh? Pftt, a genius? Yea right. So I'm this alleged genius yet I can't figure out this enormous puzzle called life. I guess I don't really know what I believe in. I want to believe in something (do I?) but I"m starting to think that I'm not capable. I question everything that is taken as fact (or as close to fact as it can get) in regards to human origin, universal origin, life, death, etc. Evolved from monkeys? Perhaps. Planted here on Earth by meteorites? Maybe. Crafted in a short span of time by a greater power? Who knows. But can a person really, truly understand all this without accepting certain knowledges as absolute fact? I tend to think not. And that's where my problem is. I question. And it's not a bad thing, it just makes it rather difficult to cement any kind of trust in a certain belief. Any ideas?=)

She told fans at New York's Carnegie Hall that Albus Dumbledore is actually gay and was "smitten" with his rival Gellert Grindelwald. Was she right to do this, given that the Harry Potter series is aimed at children?

They want modern cars

Modern homes

Modern girlfriends wearing only western clothes and mini skirts

Modern travel plans (not like before when the holidays meant having dinner with the family and doing pooja)

Modern roads

Modern discos and pubs

Modern clubs

Modern society

But there refuse to realize that they can know a modern God, someone they can learn about, but choose not to know, he came to die for our sins, ascended to Heaven and we await his second coming.

They choose to follow their own practices, idol worship and continue their traditions.... Is that not a bunch of hypocrisy?

Where is the common sense of the people?

Thanks.

As part of my daughter's history homework she has to do a front page of a newspaper as if writing about the Battle of Hastings from either perspective - Harold's side or William's side and I just wondered if anyone had any great ideas for the title of the paper? The best we have come up with so far is 'Daily Chain Mail' or 'Hastings Herald'! All sensible ideas gratefully received! She is only 11 so nothing too crude or time-wasting - thanks! Her preference is to do the paper from Harold's side and I am sure there are numerous witty comments about anticipating beating the French in last weekend's papers about the rugby, but since she has to do the paper reporting on the battle itself, it might be easier to do the conquering side? Any help would be appreciated - she is enjoying the task enormously and has done a lot of research and so I want to encourage her newly-found enthusiasm for history.

The last book I read was 'The Lost Girls' by Laurie Fox. I'm currently reading 'The Devil Wears Prada' by Lauren Weisberger.

They're both excellent books! I highly recommend them.

Southbound Dog

Two boys from Europe - yeah, they must be tourists
It’s too warm to wear a cardigan

Thin man with a beard – that’s Marlboro red
On his hat - not Maryland or Michigan

I’m just thinkin’
Takin’ one day at a time
Pocketful of emptiness, quarters and dimes
And the Southbound Dog keeps on rollin’
And the Southbound Dog just keeps rollin’ on

Sweet young girl holding fashion magazines
Somehow makes you feel she needs protection

She must have secrets on the inside of her eyelids
She’s been readin’ them all morning – reading them all morning

I’m just thinkin’
Takin’ each day as they come
With a bag of simple clothes on a road marked US 1
And the Southbound Dog keeps on rollin’
And the Southbound Dog just keeps rollin’ on

Nine passengers and the driver
Don’t know the life I’ve left behind
We’ll soon run out of road, and have to drop the load
The clothes, the change, and you still on my mind
