No knowledge/investigation can be made on a thing that cannot be thought as "part, whole, equivalence, uniqueness, limit, link, influence, sensation, origin, derivative, rule, condition, and fulfillment."

I like to remove the "slash" between knowledge and investigation.
Can I use the term "or" instead of "slash"?

In some sites I see photos with captions like 30%, 50% and 100% cropped.
How does one know when s/he has cropped 30%, 50% or even 100% of a photo?

Here's some great examples of Confucius/Philosophical like quotes from Yoda:

Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

(Though I don't think fear always leads to the dark side.)

Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try.

Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship.

Angry and alone, with nowhere left to turn.
My insides heating up, my heart begins to burn.
Frustration flowing through my veins, spreading hate and madness.
The madness changing to a scream and then turning to sadness.
The small glass box in which I live just shatters to the ground.
I lie there bleeding, suffering, and no one hears a sound.
The world just keeps spinning and I pray that it will end.
The mask I wear falls to the ground. Why bother to pretend?
A candle flickers next to me. I stare at it with doubt,
And with my one last gasping breath, decide to blow it out.

Compared to even our own planet we are utterly insignificant, so in this vast universe why do we consider ourselves to be so special?

Consider this,
There are billions of galaxies some much larger and more densely packed with stars than our own,
Within our own galaxy there are trillions of stars some much older,
Our planet is a mere spec compared to our own star,
When our planet is viewed from space we are not even visible on the surface except from low orbit with exceptional optical gear.

Taking all this into account we do we continue to fight and squabble over ideologies and resources, when in the grand scheme of things it means very little to nothing? Why do we need to be right and other wrong, especially when in a hundred years time no one will care about our struggle for supremacy?

Why do we consider ourselves to be specially choosen while another group isn't and is condemed for it?

Please explain your answers.

Thanks.

Scylla and Charybdis

Be there any more dismal abyss,
Than that of the monstrous Charybdis?
Have there been some lucky to escape
The whirlpool formed from her mouth agape?

What horrid and more fantastic beast
Is there, than that feared Scylla released?
With her six heads, never to be ceased
‘Til each, had a mortal for a feast.

That fearful strait, with the dangers placed,
Where only those foolish or brave graced,
Proved deadly for the ones ill-prepared,
Grave site for them, that for danger dared.

Does this gauntlet of trials exist,
The mighty Scylla and Charybdis?
Neither in the seas or on this earth
Rather, in fearful souls seeking worth.
