(if there was no such a thing as money at all) would it be a nice world where people would all be nice to each other and treat every1 the same or would it all be just insanity and a world of distruction?

No...

Trade would still exists but it would be based on the barter system. The problems with the barter system is that there are no set standards and trade is made difficult because instead of carrying only money you now have to carry whatever it is you are willing to trade.

In the 'old' days before money people would have to bring cow and sheep and whatnot to the local village to trade in turn for flour to make bread. Money on the other hand is a representation of wealth and is more 'portable'.

Ask yourself how would you have purchased the computer you typed this question on if money was non-existant? How could you buy your favorite CD or clothes if you had to use the barter method? Productivity would grind to a halt.

Even in the most Communist of countries where no one really 'owns' anything except the state, currency provided an important mechanism for keeping society productive.

If you believe that money is the root of all evil I assure you evil has been around long before the introduction of money.

Thank you.

You view of money is limited. You think it's just the paper or coins we use. There has always been some form or trading, whether it be rocks, chickens, cows, goats, land, rice, tea, silk, flowers. The problem without paper money is that it was hard to keep track. For instance at one point tulips were a form of money. Problem was, tulips were perishible! So paper money gave us a way to keep track that didn't require everyone to be mathematical geniuses. Even before the invention of paper money, people were not nice to each other. In fact, what happened in ancient times is if a man had a farm, the barbarians from the neighboring village would come, kill him and his family and take the farm. Why do you think the Arabs and Jews are fighting. That fight began long before paper money existed.

If there was no such thing as money people would still find some way to trade things for value. Maybe chickens or something. Maybe even like the Flintstones and have clam shells for money.

We would have still kept on trading with items we make and sell like in the caveman days.

I agree money is driving people into poverty and we have inflation problems etc. But what I think you're trying to say is what the world would be like if there wasn't any greed. It's the greed (and the vanity that goes with it) that drives people to poverty and inequality - but then again, it's part of human nature.

I think that the world would still be like in the stone age because there would be noone willing to work to make wood to build houses, we wouldn't have packaged foods because noone would want to package large quanties of items and then we wouldn't have stores or anything like that. We would still be living in caves or log houses. Or there would be alot of trading. And the inventors wouldn't be able to invent anything because alot of things would never be in existence ;)

Well....... It would make trade and commerce a lot more difficult. But there are still plenty of places in the World where barter and trade is a common way of life.

It would be a world based on the barter system. That is all. Many thousands of American do this to avoid paying income taxes.

the lazy would take what they want and never work for it, the hardworking by nature would be the ones to make sure things were produced and make up the slack, and the greedy would find some way to deprive everyone else
