I need help for history. Who invented the gramophone or anyone who invented anything close to what we call a telephone today? The evolution of the telephone from the earliest forms to the most recent.

I am going to write an essay comparing some serial killer's literacy work,so I need some play, story, poem or any form of literacy that was written by a serial killer/murderer. I was thinking about things like "Richard Mcbeef" and "Mr. Brownstone" by Cho Seung-Hui.

P.S stories and plays would be the best, since I planned to compare the similarities and differences of the plots and the character. If not, novels about serial killer will also be fine, but then I will need 2 novels to compare.

left for dead

I'm bleeding, I'm bleeding for you,
Breathing the rape that I long ago knew.
I drown in a lake filled with crimson fire,
How deep are the scars in my mind?

I take a walk on a cold Autumn night,
I inhale the stars, and drown in my fright.
Does it really take torturing children,
When armageddon comes, where will you sit?

Swallow the bitter taste, you once deeply craved,
So cry a sad smile as frail as morpheous.
Feed me but it is not worth dying for,
My son he has come, to carry me home.

Look all around, the world is a dream,
I travel to places I have never seen.
Terror above, beautiful as the night,
Black butterflys swim in full flight.
.

This are opinion questions:

How would you make sure blacks are treated equally in the south?

How would you help former slaves get some land, education and jobs?

During 1865-1877.
What would you do?

Hi. Im 15 years of age, but I am quite interested in Philosophy. I've never really taken a keen interest in ancient philosophers, such as Aristotle and Socrates, nor to say I have read anything into more modern ones like Hume.

But does anyone have a website that could introduce me to these philosophers IN A NUTSHELL. There's tons of info out there, but most of it is jargon - I just want something that explains them to a very beginner to even the simplest of philosophy. Any other sites, with simple stuff on ethics e.g. abortion, or any sites that look into an array of such topics whilst can be understood easily would also be appreciated.

Thanks

One company I looked into said that I needed equipment in order to start doing voice overs. I've also read that I needed to go to school to break into the profession. Where do I start without being ripped off--I live in the Chicago area.

I'm looking for people who are famous for non-photo work; in other words, Richard Avedon is famous FOR photography and would not qualify.

Linda McCartney is an obvious answer. I remember a book of photographs by a movie star from a few years ago but I can't remember who it was who published the book. Thanks.
