I am making a homemade memorial for somebody who just lost an individual very close to them. This was not an unexpected death or anything. I can't seem to find a heartfelt, medium in lenth poem. Any ideas? Thanks!

I am having problems in maintaining candle wax in its solid state for quite a while.

I was wondering if there was any possible way to make candle wax last longer in room temperature?

I am also wondering if I put the candle wax sculpture inside a glass case and somehow there is a liquid substance that would help it not to melt.

If candle wax is not the best material to be sculpted into a masterpiece, what kind of wax is well suited to be made into a sculpture?
(Note: The sculpture is approximately 25 inches tall)

It's alright if your answers are sci-fi, because I would really like to know your suggestions to answer my question. ^u^

I really want to use a bit of Stephen Spender's poem "I Think Continually" problem is according to Wikipedia he only died in 1995 which means it's not in the public domain and won't be for quite sometime. I know a bit about fair use but I'm not sure if it applies. What I want to do is use the first line and the last couple lines in a comic strip I'm writing. How would I go about this? Thanks!

Damn Laid Back gave me the word to write a poem about.

Internalized

Fences placed
Enclosing guests
Channel flocks
Minds unlocked

Frictions' ashes
Spoiled dances
Out of step
Out of haste

Trampled games
Sparks of shame
Led to the slaughter
Passion hotter

Fire burns
Never learn
Never turn
Away

Just obey

It feels that without fail my eyes close in every photo that there is a flash. Any ideas on how I can get over this? Is it mental? What can I do to keep my eyes open? I do notice that my eyes are sensitive, especially when I go to the eye doctor. But I'm so sick and tired of dreading the camera because I can't keep my eyes open.

The Rose..................

What a site to see we say, but do we really know
what a Rose like she goes through , to spring that certain glow.
In the winter she hides way, so patiently she sleeps,
a wishing well of strength and love, but quietly she weeps.

Awaiting old man winter to melt, so she may gallantly reappear,

this lovely princess, her blossoms begin to stare,
at my heart that shines so bright,, oh ,, the glory that she brings,
stopping nature in it's tracks as the Bluebird spryly sings.

This song to me ,about your gaze, that sets my heart on fire,
to hold this Angel just one night,, would be my great desire.

I send this poem to my Rose,, oh how she is delight,
I want to hold you silk to skin,, and rock her through the night...

Yes my,the Rose,,,,,,,,,,,,,. xxxoxoxoxox :)

This was in 1845 when the potato blight destroyed the potato crops of Ireland and England. Many people starved and 10 years later Ireland's population decreased from 8 million to 4.
Are there any links that could help me too?
I cannot really find anything that useful.
Well thank you so much :)
