Damn Laid Back gave me the word to write a poem about.

Internalized

Fences placed
Enclosing guests
Channel flocks
Minds unlocked

Frictions' ashes
Spoiled dances
Out of step
Out of haste

Trampled games
Sparks of shame
Led to the slaughter
Passion hotter

Fire burns
Never learn
Never turn
Away

Just obey

Hi,
If it is lust and not love that keeps the flame burning ('passion hotter, fire burns, never learn) it can go two ways: eventually the flame will go out and turn to ashes ('Frictions' ashes) as there's nothing left OR, love will develop and grow and give the relationship something more substantial to build on.
Never say never. One day you WILL learn, you will know when to turn away; you won't 'just obey'.

I like that, thanks.

Enclosed little man
Fear for real passions
Deceiving true love
Channel of illusions

Drinking his bear
His wife burns in the pity
Cold fireplace
Burning the dear

Obeying the decadence
Headache of shame
Getting slaughtered
The mind in flame

Hanging out with rage
Never learn
Despairing cries
Poor whys

Obey you not
For who are you
To tell me what I'm 'sposed to do

Enclosed by what
Our mind's unlocked
Won't be controlled, this little flock

Ashes die
Dances end
While with our friends some time we spend

Play your games
If you must prove
The shady side that's part of you

You shame me once
We share the blame
But shame me twice
It's now my game

The gates now open
The fire's gone
Your controlled flock has wandered on

Maybe it's you who hasn't learned
Sometimes just turn away
For who are you to tell me
That I must obey

I used to get into funks like that yet I even have had to found out that it is not my junk it quite is bothering them. as long as I shop my area of the line sparkling; i won't worry approximately what human beings do to theirs. In different words, whilst confronted with judgmental or homophobic comments perhaps you are able to desire to instruct the guy approximately what makes you sense uncomfortable approximately what they are asserting. I even have purely found out to enable it roll off my returned, and force on with what i'm meant to do.

Deep as a well of darkness. Rise, though the light hurts your eyes...Blinding light shrivels you down, deeper until you find courage to pay the toll, the awful price of knowing that a part of your soul remains as a siren on the rocks to lure you back down. Here is Insanity!

'Debauchery' is the first word that comes to mind on reading this. Pardon me if I misread! 'Minds unlocked' but still asked to obey and obeying? Only closed minds would follow....

This makes me think of the word "trapped" instead of "internalize". Perhaps they are the same in a way though....

I really, really like this. I visualize being trapped in circumstances where I feel I just can't say no, feel I have no right to say no. No way to be me, no way to explore other options. You paint a lovely picture. You are talented with words. Thanks

Someone in rebellion....against?
Why rebellion? I think of school children who are closed in by (too much) structure and no freedom to express any of themselves.
NOT ADHD.
