In anyones point of view , what could be the reason behind the wars in the world? If given the chance to solve that kind of problem (that involves thousand of peoples live, properties, the distruction of mother nature. etc.) what would be the best advise you could give to the ones involved in such crime.?
Do you believe that somewhere, somehow, people will really gain the peace and happiness that they longed for in this lifetime? What place do you think is the best place , where there is less (or no crimes at all) crimes and people understood the meaning and impo9rtance of nature, animals or everything that is natural....?
I really need to hear opinions regarding this matter....

For which reasons did Lafayette cooperate closely with Ambassadors Benjamin Franklin, and then Thomas Jefferson on behalf of American interests?

Is it because all of them were freemasons?

Personally, I would want to trace my roots (both paternal and maternal) as far as I could. It would be so exciting to see all your ancestors and to talk to them, if possible.

But, what is a soul? Does all the activities of the neurons in a human brain result in consciousness and seem to be a soul? What happens when an organic brain goes dead, and the neurons stop firing and transmitting electrochemical signals to each other? What happens then, huh? Does something else, some other medium, carry on with the transfer of information? Is information once handled, stored and manipulated in an organic structure transferred to a non-organic structure or matrix through an extra dimension? What could that new non-organic structure be? Where would it reside?

Then why learn about nomads? Or Macedonian boat building? Or the origins of trade?

How is it relevant to our present-day society? Why should we learn about things that will not affect our lives in any way?

JUST FRIENDS

Many of our friends automatically
assumed we were lovers,
and often I sensed their
unjustified envy.

So obvious were the
bonds of intimacy we shared that even
strangers assumed the same.

And before the public
we received the smiles that
were reserved for lovers.
And we were afforded
understanding nods of encouragement or,
at the least, approval.

If the truth were made known -

Yes, we had copulated a thousand times.
Through the mind and the emotions the rapport
we shared was an esthetic, creative and
purely kindred experience that challenged
all of the conceptions
formulated by those
who could not comprehend
what we shared together.

If the truth were made known -

We had never made love
because we were just friends.
And because we were friends
we were always in love.

Rest in peace, my sweet friend.

(Unique friendships are precious. Treasure them while you can, my friends.)

Ok so this chick in my class she needs a macintosh laptop for school. Her parents give her the option of a black macbook, or a macbook pro. She gets the macbook because "she likes the color". At first I thought I shouldn't judge women by the act of one person, however after all other girls in my class supported her, I lost all respect for women. This is why America cannot afford to have a female president. Note: I go to a private school, so this is about as smart as women my age get. What do you think? Oh by the way I don't actually feel that all women follow the stereotype I am sure that about 20% don't, but none of those 20% are in my grade.
