I personally believe we can find out when we realise why we are,who put us here and where we are going.
Everyone elses opinions?

There were only seven wonders of the world in the text book in Malaysia and Singapore then, no such thing as ancient wonders nor nature wonders. I remembered that Niagara Falls, Taj Mahal, The Great Walls, Angkowat, The Pyramid were among them, but just could not remember which were the other two. Please do not give me the new versions of world wonders, they were not what I wanted to know. Thank you for your help in advance.

Some have it milky
it taste like silk
Some make it weak
with no tea in, bleak
Some drink it black,
tastes like shelac
Some make the spoon
stand up too soon
Some make chemical brew
spew
Some want to make it myself
it's better for the health.

What do you think about the novel? I'm reading it for school, just finished it. Curious to see what others have thought about it.

I have a good story line and everything but I just don't know how to put a world together. Do you go really outlandish or try to keep it as simple as possible?

I'm 21 and taking this children's literature class and have been introduced to all these books written for teens. I love them! (I read Uglies and can't wait to read Pretties and Specials.) Is this weird? Is anyone else like me?

Crave
Written by Semper Fi Reborn 10/6/07

My appetite won't be sated.
It's cravings are intense,
Like the economy.
Just more inflated.
Like I live with my head in the fridge.
Or river dance for food,
At the edge of a ridge.
Yet my binge,
Is not a craving for meals.
So why look in the fridge?
There's nothing in a fridge that heals.
There nothing else under the sun,
That can satisfy my hunger,
For the Lord God's Begotten Son.
From Heaven, to the Cross, to the Grave.
To Ressurection!
To Save! That's what my spirit craves.

For a drama class, we have to come up with a setting and then a set design for a scene. This scene will be a 10 minute improvisation of 2 characters talking. Wanted to have it set in a coffee shop but was told that something like that wouldn't work because he doesn't want to see the characters simply sitting for 10 minutes. Any ideas? I would really appreciate them.

If they knew what it was like
To be me for just one day,
Then maybe they would understand,
and just stay the hell away.

If they didn't laugh or tease,
Just pretended i wasn't there.
It would be a little better,
But no one seems to care.

They always call me fat,
They always give me a name,
They always call me ugly,
Like it's all just a game.

If they knew the pain i felt,
If they saw me cry,
If they understood the hurt they'd caused,
They might finally realise why.

Is it alright? constructive criticism welcome.

Could anyone tell me what sort of emotions Van Gogh was feeling when he painted this? Would you say he looks depressed? What does this painting say about the artist and how he was feeling when he painted it?

Thanks. x
