I'm 24 and have a budding interest in photography. Right now I have to use the equipment I have. Anyway, I have looked online at professional photographers work (often they are younger than me) and I notice the color pops out a little to much or everything looks just a little to clean. I compared these images to some books I own such as the Photobook and The World's Best Photography: Photojournalism and didn't see any work that came off like so many images I've looked at online. Basically, the color is just to perfect (almost to a level that seems animated) when compared to legitimate professional photographers. I personally would like to learn to use equipment the right way and not rely on photoshop to make my images presentable. Am I just late and wanting to join a dying breed?

(takes place in the future)Summary:“What was it like 25 years ago?” all 45 students wonder aloud. Natalia twitches impatiently, awaiting Mrs. Welsh’s reply.
“Well it was a lot less crowded, a lot more cooperation, a lot less violence,” is all the teacher had to say, all any adult had to say.
“I think we should get rid of the useless people. The people like Natalia and Kay. They are a waste of space,” Ayden whispered to his group of friends. Kassidy giggled and many others glared at the two friends. Natalia and Kay may not have any evidence, leaving them to appear as two perturbed nobody’s, but they soon wouldn’t need it. They were on a mission to discover the truth behind the acceleration in wars, overpopulation, and poverty.

Chapter overveiws:
Chapter 1: New Student
Natalia moves cities (surrounding cities are supposedly under quarantine) and switches schools. She is rejected by other students and teachers, doesn’t fit in. (exposition)

I mean, you go to school, and all you think about is, I cant wait till highschool is over! Then when it ends, you hug your friends and cry. Then off to college,

ONLY 4 more years until we get out of college!! WOOT!!
Then when it ends, you start to think, I am getting old, I want to be back in highschool.

Then you get a job. I cant wait till I have enough money to retire. I totally hate work, it sucks. Then you retire, you look at pictures of old friends in your wrinkled pictures of you and your friends from highschool and college.

You wake up every day and cherrish every second of your remaining life.

Why does everyone want to rush through life?

How do you determine who is at fault? And what if it can be shown that you are incorrect?

Idiosyncrasy

Lackluster, insipid, banal, inane
Lukewarm shadows glide wearily round here
Yet these beings let the question remain--
Why must they value being so austere?
Alas! They do not see the flaws they own
Being incredibly obtuse and gray
Some even sustaining a heart of stone
Heedless of the will that withers away
That is not I! It shall never be me!
Who would choose to live in this artless mode
I choose to soar to a land that is free
Where my might, my strength shall never erode
And with every eye, I see them glare
Speaking to me -- “To whom can you compare?”

I've talked to someone who used lulu.com and they said it was difficult even for them (they're very technical). I've had several suggestions on other sites, but they seem to specialize in serial stories, not panel cartoons.

I've been looking at Drunkduck.com which is fairly new, but their information makes it sound as if ALL posted art is their property once it gets posted to their site, not sole property of the artist who created it. I've been waiting to get an answer back on that before uploading anything over there.

I've got panel cartoons (such as the ones in the weekday comic strips--horizontal with 3 or 4 panels per strip). I've been looking for a site to host them that doesn't have difficulty working with my home computer system.

Anyone using any that they're very happy with? Any suggestions? My stuff's in black and white, no color.

Isn't it true that those we consider to be monsters or monsterous are simply lacking in human kindness and that human kindness instead of being an instinctual response is infact a learned behaviour? Therefore do we not (as a society and personally) have to accept the responsibility for the existance of those we consider monsters?

Why/Why not? Please xplain your answers.

Thanks.
