I think it does exist. Or did happen. And no, I didn't just hear about this from System of a Down. I'm not Armenian, but I've passed by a book on the library on the subject, read it and have been shocked. I do not hate Turks for it, but come on, just put it to rest and admit it happened.
If Turks won't agree about the accuracy about the genocide, then they could AT LEAST TRY to agree on what lie they're trying to go for. Some people say Armens (abbreviation, folks) wiped out because of disease, then nutjobs say the Armens made the genocide, and the vast majority of people just deny it's existence. At least agree on a lie, people.

And besides, why just say it happened. It happened in the past. Only idiots would see Turks as monsters. Think about it. And just settle on something already. I'm tired of SoaD just whining about it.

So I was bored at the library today so I picked up a book of poetry. None of them rhymed. The author was talking about the poems as if they were the best ever made... I've always known poems don't technically have to rhyme but I had no idea that non-rhymers were so popular. I mean common! if it doesn't rhyme its just a paragraph! wheres the art in that?

Also on a side note I couldn't figure out how to read these "poems". You see It seemed as If I was supposed to read it as normal sentences, pausing only at the periods and commas. But then why are the sentences broken up into lines? Should I pause at the end of the line too?

Ugh. Non-rhymers suck!

I found this painting that i think is really old and was wondering if anyone could tell me how much it might be worth. The artist was listed as B. Lambert, but i did a little research and found out that his name was really Karl Kaufmann. I cannot find the picture that i have anywhere on the internet or anything about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've heard many different theories and many sources saying that it is simply impossible. Even today's cranes couldn't move rocks of that size and weight. I can't tell you everything I've heard, but I remember thinking that it was truly a mystery to me because of the overwhelming evidence that there is no way the Egyptians could pull it off.

Aliens maybe?

In Book III of The Histories, Herodotus states the 3 forms of government and their pros and cons. Does Herodotus seem to favor one type of government (monarchy, oligarchy, or democracy)? If so, how?

Hi, I'm a 16 yr old teenager, I'm way into film and drama, and have decided that that's the stuff that I want to do in life.
I've had some really amazing experiences with film that have really changed me, so I started wondering how I could do this for a living. do you have to go to college?
I certainly don't have to be the next Julia Roberts, but i would like to earn enough for a living.
I'm fine with either film or drama, is it hard to find proper work?
plus: does anyone here know eg what a typical day is like?
Is it very hard? and what kind of person do you have to be: attractive and very sociable, or can you just be yourself??

Heart's Letter

One longs to hear,
Words so dear.
Hoping, romance will come
Not just one, but quite a sum.

Takes every path every strait
Just to be rejected, this I hate!

Cupid's bow had struck
Yet I couldn't duck.
Strangely, I can't find
My lover. Which had been denied.

My heart rolls furciously day by day,
Yet I'll search for my lover and wait.
Till than my heart will reside, In a depression from, whom I hide.

You
By Semper Fi Reborn

My mind is like a waterfall,
Of daydreams and mist.
Like a young love,
Experiencing a first kiss.
Although all the lines,
Speak fully with truth.
No words are more lovely,
Than those about YOU.

When you enter a room,
All eyes at your call.
Sort of like a mirage.
Are you not here at all?
Speak now,
Let me hear the sound of your song.
Wake me from this dream,
For I've slept for so long.
O' wait,
Let me sleep, lest you shatter my peace.
Dream of You for eternity,
My heartbeats increase.

I stare,
Like you are a room with a view.
My mural of beauty,
My vision is YOU.

Because Rome had sewers and plumbing unrivaled in america till the late 19th century, not to mention gigantic bath/spa/gym combos and stadiums, all of which were usually free, and lot's of other stuff!
It seems only recently have people placed as much emphasis on entertainment/leisure structures as the Romans did, and our welfare system still usually doesn't give out completely free food all that often! What do you think?
