I've heard many different theories and many sources saying that it is simply impossible. Even today's cranes couldn't move rocks of that size and weight. I can't tell you everything I've heard, but I remember thinking that it was truly a mystery to me because of the overwhelming evidence that there is no way the Egyptians could pull it off.

Aliens maybe?

This is still a mystery and the subject of much argument among Egyptologists.
The story that it was all done with slave labor is untrue.
It was built by technically advanced craftsmen who were working to very precise designs.
The muscle power was provided by egyptian peasants who were unable to work the land during the annual Nile flood and large villages were built in the vicinity of the pyramids to house these people.

Well the Egyptians used some forced labor which could account for the thousands of people working to create them and no one really knows how the pyramids were built.

They used a lot of slaves and were able to move the bricks be placing them on round logs. The logs were progressively replaced as the bricks were pulled.

they had hundreds of people pulling block for block on trunks of trees that would roll as they moved it. I have also heard that aliens helped them build it and gave them insights into the future.

they used human labor. they made the slaves be tied with rope and slide the rocks up a frame type slide.
