I need help in enlisting new members, increasing submissions, and selling more magazines. Note we have a limited budget., and limited resources. Any help would be great.

I have been taking photography courses for about three years now. I consider myself to have a good eye, and have been recommended for AP Photography in my school next year. However, one thing that has never gone too well for me is getting the proper depth of field. When changing aperture, I never notice any change in focus (ie: more in focus when going from f/8-f/16.) Why is this? Shouldn't I see more get in focus when I go from 8-16?

I've often wondered. we weren't talk too much about those groups in the past. All the attention was focused on white and black issues. So i was really wondering. How life was like for them? I have no clue. What schools did they go to? what bathrooms did they use? where they threatened and stuff?

Every time I try to sell an excellent piece of artwork, one or few of the following always happens:

1) I'll give a person a contact card, but I always get the famous line "I'll give you a call for sure!" They never call.
2) I try to advertise... I tried once in a newspaper... but I don't ever get any reply.
3) I show them off to few people, they absolutely love it, but never want to pay how much it's worth... i usually charge $65 or even $50, or they always broke.
4) I even tried few art stores, but no luck.
5) I posted them on the Internet, and had my sign-in name on messenger set to the link of the site, and told them they're for sale.
Then people say that I'm not trying to make any money and I'm just wasting my talent? As hard as I tried?

What am I doing wrong??

O.k. I have learned about various kingdoms that developed in Africa. My question is why did they leave so little behind? For example the Sahelian Kingdoms of Mali, Songhai, and Ghana, we know from history that they were great, however, unlike the Egyptians ,they didn't leave much behind. Yes, Iknow there is a beautiful mud mosque in Mali, but Why didn't they built greater monuments like pyramids and temples, stuff like that. Could stone not be found in the Sahel? Were there no other resources they could use ?
2nd question Concerning the great Zimbabwe, it is good that the ancient zimbabweans, who are supposedly the ancestors of the modern day shona people ( who are the majority in zimbabwe) built the city However, why didn't they built all of their cities like that of zimbabwe, instead of only two { the great zimbabwe and Khami, another city though smaller than zimbabwe.}?

i am a commercial photographer nothing huge, but i would like to get into wedding photography, and i know its much too intricate for me to just dash into it. i can;t seem to find any photographers that are willing to train another wedding photographer. I am available weekends and willing to work hard for little or no money at first.
