It seems like these days you don't need to have much natural talent to be a good photographer. I mean, take some classes, buy a really good camera, and practice a lot, and you could get really great, without much natural talent.

But that's just my opinion. I don't claim to know a whole lot about photography.

What do you guys think? How much natural talent do you need to become a good photographer?

I have a minolta x-370. Everything seemed to be working fine. I loaded my film in the camera but was unable to advance it. the film advance crank opens the full 130 degrees. I can feel a slight resistance against it which feels normal, but the crank will not turn the spool. The shutter release also does nothing when i press it. Is there something that i am just forgetting??

My teacher assigned us to write a sonnet, and I'm not the best poet. I know the first line isn't exactly 10 syllables but I'll cheat a little. I have only 4 lines, I need ten more. Any suggestions? The patter is ABAB CDCD and so on. This is what I have so far.

Every time your name is said I smile,
But what's even better than that is your's.
My wish? To walk with you down the aisle.

I'm from New York. Eventhough I'm 18, I watch The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Hannah Montana. I also watch HSM 1 & 2. HSM 3 is currently being recorded. I don't have an agent and I want to audition for HSM 3 and Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. I've only been in 2 plays in my entire life. I've been in my school play Annie and has played a servant. I was in an acting class and also did the play Annie and played one of thee orphans. So if anyone can help me get an acting job on all 3 I'd be like so happy!

How is it determined what day Columbus day will fall on each year? How's come he gets all the credit for discovering the americas when Amerigo Vespucci really did all the dirty work. And how many songs do you know about Columbus' voyage? I know one little chant :)!*In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue* that's all I got, but can you do better?

I have to decide between two Digital Still Cameras, that are basically the same in everything (even the price), but one has an aperture range of f2.7 - f8.0 and the other one is f3.5 - f10.0.

What woul you choose? what would i need f2.7 or f10.0 for?

We all know what Nietzsche was about: abandoning unworldly predicates and suppositions and elevating oneself above the herd via the Will to Power. But that's the thing, practicing Will to Power in its most stripped down and rawest form is nothing short of animalistic, and it rarely brings about positive rewards in our current egalitarian society. If anything it'll land you in jail. No matter how ambitious or passionate an individual may be, there are just some external forces that we incapable of controlling, like the weather or the socio-economic classes we are born into.

What does Nietzsche suggest? Niches, maybe? Finding a field of expertise in which to invest time and energy? A sort of outlet or conduit by which the Will to Power is expressed despite its ineffectiveness in other aspects of one's life?
