Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to do IR photography with a Hoya R72 and a Canon 1DMIII. I wanted to do this with my canon 20D but I read that this would come out with a poor result due to some IR filtering software in the camera's sensor. Is this the same with the 1DMIII or does it work?

I went on an audition that would have been perfect for me but because I only had 2 hours to prepare for it, I really was unfamiliar with the material and it showed. The script sides were given out the night before at 7pm but I had to work until 11pm. So, I studied it until 1am. I had also scheduled to work at the time they wanted me to audition at 2:45 pm the next day, so I rescheduled the audition for 10:30 AM. I woke up at around 8:30 AM and studied it for another hour. Should I tell my agent that I blew that audition because I didn't have enough time to prepare, so that he knows its not beacuse I have no skills. I'm worried that the casting director gave him bad feedback about me and I want him to still have faith...

For those of you who answered my other question about my english teacher who told me a 13 year- old could never write, here is what happened today! Okay, I showed my english teacher a bit of my upcoming novel and she read it. She told me it was the worst, most ameture piece of writing she's ever seen! I understand you are probebly thinking she's right but Persphone_Hellcatt will tell you what she thinks of it [she is helping me out with my novel]. I understand that I am young and my writting will improve to where I won't even recognize it but Persphone_Hellcatt is a PROFESSIONAL writer and she says I am improving!

Now BEFORE you tell me that I'll need a thicker skin to deal with editors and other people, let me tell you that I have learned to deal with stuff like that.
Instead of losing my cool and being unproffesional, I took my notebook back and walked back to my seat. Editors will tell me MUCH worse.
She claims to write well but- no! Did I do the right thing?

Im moving back to New York next year around this time, and I really need to find a college to go to. Im already taking some classes up at Valley College here in California, but I need to know about an art school, the BEST one, or at least ONE of the best. Not to mention an apratment. I remember when I used to live there in Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Harlem, the rent was ridiculous, but now its just insane! Anyone know about apartments and art schools, please help out, I'd really appreciate it. An art school for photography, film, fashion, and writing, and an apartment. HELP ME! Thanks.

Is it an accumulation of individual subjective realities or is there some kind of underlying objective world out there? If there is this underlying objective foundation can we ever see it, feel it, or know it? If all we have are our senses to guide us "or someone else's senses" then how can anyone really know what's real, I mean, what's really real?

Of course there's the Actor's Studio but anywhere else? I'm also looking for the place where students studied with Stella Adler. I wish she was still alive. There are so many teachers that are gone now, that I begin to wonder who are the next best teachers that carry out the legacies of these teachers. ie Sanford Meisner, Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Stanislavski and many more. Do you think teaching students to be great actors will continue now that some of the best are gone?

Im not one of the thousands of kids who come on here and say how they want to be an actor/actress. I really need some valueable information. I am 15 and live on the east coast. What would be a good path to follow to get into the business.

One other thing, are theatre and acting close in reseblance? Why?
