It may take effort to project the sound but if you do your lines do it with out breath. Breath out, cut it off. Then take your voice up an octave, hold that breath and speak.

Support your voice. "Squeeze" out the words through diaphragmatic breathing. Vibrate your vocal chords. Whisper, with voice, your words.

Act, fer Crissakes.

This is really Acting 101. C'mon

I would suggest that you take up Smoking. It is very beneficial to the "Raspy" voice.

smoking, ingesting and screaming provides you with a raspy voice; yet you dont prefer to try this! singing for a protracted time in the previous your preformance, loudly will placed rigidity on your chords; that would desire to help. additionally, interestingly ingesting lemon juice and vinegar, then singing/stressing your vocal chords or screaming, then ingesting extra, and singing or screaming will help you lose your voice. in case you in basic terms try this slightly yet now not adequate to thoroughly unfastened your voice would desire to supply you with a raspy voice for a couple of minutes. (day or 2)
