I went on an audition that would have been perfect for me but because I only had 2 hours to prepare for it, I really was unfamiliar with the material and it showed. The script sides were given out the night before at 7pm but I had to work until 11pm. So, I studied it until 1am. I had also scheduled to work at the time they wanted me to audition at 2:45 pm the next day, so I rescheduled the audition for 10:30 AM. I woke up at around 8:30 AM and studied it for another hour. Should I tell my agent that I blew that audition because I didn't have enough time to prepare, so that he knows its not beacuse I have no skills. I'm worried that the casting director gave him bad feedback about me and I want him to still have faith...

Either have the agent work around your needs (and thereby get less opportunities) or re-work your schedule to be able to do well in the auditions.

If you are not committed to getting the auditions or cannot financially, consider another occupation.

Agents don't want to hear excuses! Don't say anything. Next time, ask your agent to fax or E-mail, the sides to you at home or work.

Yes, you should tell him. I think the truth speaks volumes about your character in general. Agents are used to this happening to their talent. You are fine. In fact, he/she may give you input on how to improve your preparation.

Your agent already knows.

Stop whining and do your job. You blew this. Accept it.
