Is is symbolic of randomness? Of lack of relativity to any meaning? I don't get it. Who came up with this, I see it all the time lately? THANKS for helping out if you can!

Is there any software out there that can convert a digital photograph into a sketch or psuedo painting? The purpose is to take real photos and convert them into illustrations for a children's book.

Any ideas?

Yes I own Canons, Minoltas and Sonys.......yes I hire Nikons sometimes (for a particular lens), yes I hire medium formats sometimes.

Yes I do Camera Operate for TV. - - using the best HD Sonys available.

So here we go, the sony A100 or Alpha to some.

Why when it was the Minolta D7 did people rate it, now it says Sony thet dont? Practical Photography rate it the best DSLR one month and 7th the next? (thanks Dr Sam)

Those that write Sony off have you ever considered Sony are the leaders in Pro TV/video cams. Sony are a serious company, they are in bed with Zeiss - who make the best TV cam lenses.

Being in the know, I know Sony have serious plans for still cams. If you have heard of Zeiss then you will know the top lenses in the range are sharp as.

Do people really think Sony are going to stop at the A100, are they content being ignorant as to the future of DSLR?

So lets see who gets what I'm saying and lets see who keeps the "blinkers" on?

example: Someone blows somebody's head off just for the fun of it, or taking the ten commandments off the wall cause someone just might follow them, or thinking everybody is equal when nature proves otherwise, or some kid gets raped and killed. Get the point?

I am currently training for my soon to be career. Everyone tells me I'm so lucky to know what I want, and even be able to do what I want, while most people can only dream about it.

I, on the other hand, feel like my life is a constant struggle in order to reach goals that I set years ahead of myself, and by the time I reach one, I have the next one waiting one or two years ahead of me, hence never really feel satisfied, even though I might accomplish all my goals one by one. Whenever I take one big step ahead, I can't stop thinking that my next goal is waiting, and there is no time to celebrate.

Sometimes I feel like people who just live for the day feel more content. Even though they might not accomplish as much in life, but they are happier. This has been bothering me for a while now. What do you all think?

i'm a 14 year-old girl. i'm incredibly interested in becoming an actress, but my family isn't very rich. I won't be able to pay for an agent, so I need to know. I understand that to be an actress you have to have headshots, and be able to travel; which I will find a way to pay for, but I wouldn't be able to if I have to pay for an agent also. Also, if anyone has any tips on acting, let me know. Thanks!

It's my understanding that a lower f-stop number will result in a blurred background and a higher number in an all around in focus shot. BUT why is it that I am seeing these photos online that have nice blurred backgrounds that were shot at f-14? What gives? I want to use this info for wildlife photography.

Thanks!!
