There is nothing to fear about death. If you believe in heaven, death is something to look foward to, in a wierd sorta way. If you look at the world around you, you see hatred, strife, death, hunger, and all the other things we associate with pain and despair. Death isn't the end of life. It's the end of death. In it's own strange way, death is a release from the pains of life. Does this mean we should all go Hari-Kari? No. Our jobs are to use our lives to soften the pain of others, and to use them to the best of our ability, for the limited time we are here, and when death comes, to accept it.

I am fine with mortality -- whenever it happens. I have managed to let go of most of the common fears that we have. As a result, death is nothing to be feared. We only fear death when we imagine worse case scenarios. Rarely do we even consider the benefits of dying.
If someone cannot wrap their brain around the concept of benefits of dying, they will likely struggle with mortality.

of course not, ive always known how weak i am, ever since i started playing football, im just not afraid of anything, especially death. one things is that i have no fear and i believe that fate has a reason for everything- that makes me constantly resilient. another is that, im smart enough to not get killed because of my own actions or something my friend might do

It doesn't bother me a bit. I've faced it many times and managed to walk away in (more or less) one piece. We're all going to die and what happens after that is a mystery wrapped in conjecture that I don't waste time worrying about. I'll find out one of these days.

I look to the Dalai Lama for this answer, if you cannot do anything about an outcome of a situation (such as death) why spend one second in fear or worrying about it.

No, because I know it to be inevitable. It's life that matters to me, not death which is only another one of its events.
