Well just be prepared to sing a song or some bars of a song at least when they ask you if it is a musical they are producing. Also, be prepared to do a "cold-reading" or a monologue they (directors) tell you to do. Other than that, I think that's it. I've been to many call backs in High School and that's how it usually went to musical call backs. Play callbacks usually require cold readings, and or acting on the second day to see how well you can play the part. Musicals, however, usually consist of singing and or dancing, and MAYBE cold reading. :) Tell us how you did!

I just went to a callback for my middle school's Aladdin Junior =]
Anyway, my first callback for school was for Twelfth Night. All I had to do really was cold reading. That's what I did for the Aladdin callbacks; cold reading with various different actors.
Since you really can't prepare for a cold reading, just try to read aloud everything that you see. If you're receiving a notice for the first time read it out loud. That helps you get more comfortable with words that you may not be familiar with.
Stay positive and be willing to do whatever the director asks you to do. A big part of the auditioning process is not just based on talent, but how well the actor can respect their peers and what not. He or she is not going to cast a talented diva when there's always the next respectful student.
Hope that helps and good luck with your callback!

Just go prepared to do what you did at the first audition and whatever else they ask you to do, give it your best shot. Look at it as an opportunity to have a good time acting and singing and do that. Take any part they offer you with gratitiude and enthusiasm and do every thing you can to make the show a success.
