Public hangings, torture, execution, why have humans have always killed so many other humans in wars and battles. this might not be relevent but humans have not just killed other humans they have killed so many animals for food ect. Public hangings and executions how one is left helpless to save him/or her self with hands tied up and no where to run. you could say that if so many lives were not lost it would be a crowded place. I would not agree, because humans and animals die naturally. I do practice religion, I do have faith in god but even if I say its gods will and all those killed goto heaven. It really puzzels me and does not answer my question. when will all humans ever stop killing, hurting and torturing ? will it ever happen ?

Honestly, what should I expect?

If Merriam Webster says rhythm is a procedure with a patterned recurrence of a beat then my circadian rhythm really has no rhythm for it functions as it pleases, day to day without a definite pattern. I no longer reach stage four of my sleep cycle, my day is rather split into two sets of slumber: A nap and a, well, night's sleep.

I'd like to further delve into this highly valued act of man as I have come to realize that each form of slumber distinguishes from the other in terms of the works of our minds, at least of mine. And if I am wronged by the notion that sleeping is not a highly valued act of man, or a value at all, then I have obliterated the fact that we live in a country bombarded by the media that exerts a great amount of stress upon it's citizen: America. In that case, we are citizens that live like zombie-bats.

What your mind envisions during a nap distinguishes from that of a heavy sleep at night. For a nap triggers your mind to philosophize about anything, and this takes place within the mere seconds before sinking into your subtle slumber. You create new ideas, theories, hypotheses, anything that makes sense, you create a new thread of thought and hope to still have that grip on it the moment you wake up.

As for our regular sleeps at night, we dream. I know I didn't mention dreams during naps, but our thoughts are dreams, we have different types of dreams during the day and at night. The dreams that take stage during night encompass our unconscious analysis of our day. We are also exposed to new images, unfamiliar to us, that function as messengers teaching us something about ourselves.

This is something I just doddled in a notepad....but I feel it stands true. Its all bit raw and unfinished but maybe some of you have a pointer or two. I dont really write to much poetry but want to start.

we might as well all be toddlers
splish and splashing in a bottle
that we call the great great mother

but who are we to lay the law
for all we have is a mighty jaw
that barks and barks and says nothing

we just speak into the air
for we really arnt even that clear
on our plan for the future

all we want is a piece of the pie
and to keep ourselves up in the sky
to stay above the ground below

sinking now would be a joke
but we wont stay above for long
because we are all just in a dream

thinking that we really see
what life is all about
when people in africa live in doubt

we sit on our mighty thore
with cracks and creases to the bone
its all about to break
and be eattin by a snake
swallowed whole and then
SH*T out!

I really love myself and know who I am. Last year I was lost and mixed up with the WRONG people. Define wrong: they were leading me astray, I was allowing them to influence me. The more you are in that environment the more likely you are to reflect that environment subconsciously. I have completely lost interest in these people. No Hi's no Buys. Nothing personal, but I am at another stage in my life. I feel like for the first time I am enjoying my life. I couldn't get along with some of them in the clique and began to mistrust those who belonged to that clique. If they ever ask me why I am "ignoring them" (their perspective), what can I tell them without sounding as if I am better than them. From the beginning they interpreted what I said in a negative way. Now I have lost complete interest. I'm here for my education.

So today my band teacher goes up to me and asks me if I want to switch to bass clarinet next school year. I IMMEDIATELY say yes, because I've ALWAYS wanted to play that. But then I got to wondering, why'd she choose me?

I've played Bb (b-flat) clarinet for 6 years, and i'm 5th chair out of 6 people. Any ideas?

I am strongly considering photographing sporting events and selling prints on site. I have the equipment and experience with action photography but I was wondering for like track meets, soccer tournaments, etc. If the organizers usually ask to take a cut from a commercial photography venture. I'd like to at least know a bit of the insider info on how you go about negotiating for this sort of thing. If you dont know, dont answer.

How can I improve as an actress?

I love drama, and I really want to improve.
I have very little experience, and not many available opportunities to gain acting experience aside from "real auditions" with my university and community theater companies in my town.

How can I become better at acting?
What are some skills that every actor needs to possess?
How do I improve?

I'm not into acting for some allusion that I could be "famous"... I just like to act. I want to become better at what I do and become more experienced so I can actually land some decent parts. I'm willing to work! =)

I was wonder what is your personal opinion of either one if you have experience with one. Im saving up for a prime low-light lens and i think these are the best lenses for what i am going to be doing (portraits and stage). I would love the f/1.4 for both build and obvious aperture but is it worth the almost $300 more? i would also consider the 85mm f/1.8
