Have you ever thought about what the world would be like if species survived through cooperation, rather than competition? In what ways do you think our lives would be different? Do you think competition has helped humanity advance at the rate we have, because we are always trying to be the best? Hi .. I'm a 21 y/o guy ( just turned 21 yesterday ) and I got a problem. Since always , I've wanted to become a great musician / singer ( for a living ).

The music I study is Cuban Music , Salsa Brava .. my Idol being Hector Lavoe..

But right now I'm going to college taking IT , and I don't have any motivation AT ALL for doing it... I've been wasting years by not doing anything at school

Should I quit school and hope to become a musician , or should I suck it up and finish college ( like my parents want me to ) so I can get a "real" degree ?

I know they love me and want the best for me , and I know it's best for me too , but the motivation just isn't there ...

ok i need to know 4 things about the COLONY of north carolina, not the state, but when it was one of the 13 colonies...
1) Who were some famous people/leaders from the colony? Why were they important? What kind of impact did they have on the colony?

2) What was the government system like?

3) What were the religious beliefs of the colonists.

4) Describe colonial daily life.

I know she is there,
I can feel her eyes in the back of my head.
The soft glow from her window,
throws shadows on the lawn.
I know she is wondering,
who I am,

silver chain to my neck,

The inky waters swirl at my feet,

I have just recently completed a very good book and everyone tells me that I need to get it published. But the only problem is I don't know of any place that say's you don't need an agent, and I don't have any money to afford an agent. I tried scholastic but you need an agent with them also. Is there any place to get published that do not require an agent? Or can I just use my mom as my agent or another fmily member? Or do agent's have to have legal papers to show the publisher's that they are certified? But please help I can't afford an agent. And don't suggest lulu.com. They are a bear trap for anyone with a story and a valid credit card.

What were you taught about your country's history?

Were you taught about all of the good things and none of the bad?

I had to take a special course (Liberal Arts 11) to learn about the entirety of Canadian history as opposed to smiles and victory.

But it is, in fact, a child who died in a British concentration camp in the Second Boer War. I need an answer from a highschool grad on whether or not they were taught about the atrocities committed during the Boer war by the British and their Canadian allies.
