I wanna see Edgar Allen Poe turn into E to da A Ho! The Raven should shoot at the main character and the main character should be mourning 10 prostitutes because he wanted more money not because he loved them. The Raven should carry a gun, the main character should smoke weed and be a rich pimp! Instead of saying "Nevermore", the Raven should say "Hos Galore"

Since everything we ever experience is only ever in our own minds and not external, that means that everything we perceive is a symbol of the real event, as we can never perceive strictly objective truth. It's a very complex symbol, but ultimately a symbol, a concept that represents what we are interacting with.

Since this is true, this means that when we get upset at something, in reality we are getting upset at the symbol we perceive and not the objective truth. Therefore, any emotion that we direct at any event/phenomena in life is actually only ever represented in our own minds. My getting angry at you would actually only ever direct the anger at the *concept* of you, which in actuality is composited of fragments of my self. So getting angry at you just piles on B.S. emotional associations and turmoil onto fragments and concepts that are directly apart of me and my identity.

Is it not, therefore, urgent to respond to things compassionately, as it ultimately reflects on the self?

I thought the first half was pretty boring, and the rest was kind of contrived. It was really dumb where the last horcrux was hidden, and the answers to a lot of the secrets seemed insubstantial. Also the "charm" that filled the first 4 seemed to be gone. Rowling also doesn't seem to do a very good job with fight scenes The book had a lot of them, and I didn't think they were well written. But mostly I didn't like it because the plot seemed contrived, didn't anybody else notice this? Why does everybody like it so much? In my opinion, the first 4 were much better.

K think back to your favorites, what book should be added to every kid's collection of books they own? If you want tell me why you chose that one (like if it teaches a moral lesson or something).

I choose the poetry collection "A light in the Attic" by Shel Silverstein, and Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister.

I am going to send my resume headshots and a cover letter to the agents areound here. But I don't know the purpose of the cover letter I have the one I wrote but i want to know what it is suppose to be about and the goal of the cover letter, and how to stand out in the cover letter. As an actress I have struggled to find auditions, but with an agent the auditions I would go to would skyrocket. I have been acting since I was 4 years old, and the first time I was on stage I realized that I love the feeling of the stage I am not one of the peoples looking for a way to get rich quick. I realize that you do not become a star over night, but that it takes time, effort and talent and I have that. If you chose to represent me it would not be a mistake I would go to the auditions I would work hard to become even better actress. Performing is what I choose to do with my life, and I have known that acting is what I want to do for the longest time and I hope that you chose to help me on this road

The more I read about athiests and Christians, the more I think about this. They argue endlessly about whose beliefs are right, but they're not really talking about belief. They are trying to educate each other with their own knowledge, something they believe is true.

so here you are breaking the chain,
losing something you thought that would never changed.
you start to lose the protection,
she use to give but now she's slaying.
your the one she's starting to hate,
because, she is the one you tried so hard to not to save.
you kept the poem she wrote you,
she tells you to read it every night,
that's something you'd never try to fight.
she wished you stayed,
every night she becomes more afaid,
that you will lose your ways, and push her away.
her innocent heart and eyes,
makes you want to die for every single lie.
you told her not to cry,
but you assume she does, because, every day yall slip away,
and the connection starts to die.

Here's my second ruba'i. Please let me know what you think?

Plowshares

Alone below a dismal, purple sky,
Megiddo stretching far beyond the eye.
Bones: bleached inscriptions written in the dust
A monument to those who would defy.

Suddenly, stood a multitude nonplussed
The petty, the mighty, all the unjust
The insignificant next to the great,
No choice, that was past, they did what they must.

Clothing stained by the bitter blood of hate.
The books were then opened to fix their fate.
Treading the grape this fierce vintage of wine,
None to turn away, to propitiate.

The heavens folded in as by design,
Dross to burn, gold and silver to refine.
What will remain on this terrible day?
When the sun will finally cease to shine.
