Are you talking the key to open the box in the links section? Look in the bookshelf, there is a book with a question mark on it. Move the book to the left and you'll find the key.

You have to find all the christmas decorations first. There is the wreath on the door, and a couple in the mirror. Once you have found them all the key is in the windchimes.
It's been a while since I did it so this may be a little off, but here you go :) Hope it helped :)

That door (which is almost always locked) only opens from time-to-time. I would keep checking mugglenet.com and they will post it right away once she opens the door. Also once the door is open you will aways have to do something different (and often challenging) to get the door to open. I don't think it is open now nor do I know the next time it will open.
