I love to write poetry, and I never really thought about publishing it until someone told me that i was a really good poet, and I should think about getting it published. This is the poem that a lot of people said was really good that I wrote. I'ts called "My Addiction."

If there was any drug that I would take
The one I'd take would be as sweet as cake.
I can't tell you her name but you will find
That the drug I take is so very divine
She's lovely to see after a long hard day
And she's better than anything I can ever paid
As soon as you want some you'll always want more
And each time you take some you'll take a little more
You’ll start to get a feeling that you won’t ever forget
Your heart beats faster and you might even sweat
As the moment gets closer you start to feel
A tingling sensation that you know for sure is real
No matter how hard you try it can’t be controlled
And the best part is that it never gets old
You start addicted, and you can’t ever stop

I am a TOTAL Umbirge-hater. So after Harry gets out of Hogwarts do you think he'll march right over to the Ministry of Magic and jinx her?
Also I think Harry Ron and Hermione should go to the Dursley's house and Ron & Hermione will watch Harry do all kinds of bad things to the Dursleys. What do you think he should do? This is going to be a fun one to answer for Harry Potter readers such as myself. And my brother.

I've always wanted to be a film director...of course, I'm a girl and seriously if your a girl director you have to be pretty good...i dont think i'd make it...but also i'd like to be in like musicals and stuff...but i really dont think my parents would approve of that..and i'd need voice lessons if i was to follow that up lol....i'm in vocal at school and i hope to sing and play piano in college...but i juss dont know....what do you think? this is kinda not a question lol juss me ranting..but feel free to answer! lol

Personally, I started LIKING Snape!!!! I liked the way he was in love with Lily ALLL this while, even after she passed away.... Given a chance, I think he would have chosen to become a better person..... I guess he was crushed after Lily got married to James......

Either way, I'm just curious........ (Because someone I know thought it was bullshit)..... and I didn't agree with them......

This Dark Night

At a time when the light was far too bright,
With a clash and clamor—a clanging din,
You flip off the switch succumbing to night,
As insects crawl in, out, over your skin.
You choke, gag, swallow—finally invite
A twitching, a twinge, a tremor within.
As blue devils scuttle in endless flight,
Though closing your ears, the voices begin.
Failure and shame they are set to recite,
Litany of wrong, a message of sin.
You run around aimless, lost in your plight
Adrift and misplaced, undone from chagrin.

The chills commence, the shaking’s begun,
Pleading, praying for the next morning sun.

I already completed my manuscript in the genre of fantasy in the form of twelve anthologies. I never had any of my work published before and this is my first book. I already have query letters sent out to a bunch of agencies and i know all about the game of getting an agent, but luck is running out and time is a precious thing. I'm 16 and is that why they keep rejecting me in my letters? Or is it because I've never been published? I've been to a bunch of websites about Literary agents, but I'm open to any suggestions.
