I'm no little kid
who needs to be led by hand
ive grown from the day
my life was turned around

things have been thrown at me
from the day i was born
and i'm getting more used to it
as the days wear on

sometimes i think this way
yet i know it's not all that
but can u honestly blame me
for feeling that it's all just crap

these things that have happened
have pushed me to the edge
and now there you are
STILL holding my hand

i may still be young
and i'm perfectly fine with that
it's just that i am growing
and i don't constantly need u on my back

i'm looking around
and i'm surprised at what i see
because i see 10 yr olds
being able to do more than me

i've stopped the talking
and constant chattering
b/c i don't see the point anymore
when you don't even listen to a quarter of what i say

diff things have happend
and it's taking all of what i can do
to keep myself under control
and not walk out that door

I have been swamped with work as some of you already know and today on my way home from work, a close friend of mine called and informed me that she is indeed dying from "COPD" "Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease" just as her husband did last year.
I am unable to be there for her nor will I be able to attend her funural so she has now asked me to write her something special as well as write her eulogy and she would like to see these before she's gone.
Doc says she has maybe 4 to 6 weeks left so if you could, any suggestions would be great as I would like to have all this mailed by the end of this coming week (Aug 3rd)

they both died the exact same way in a hot car, one dad got 20 years and one got nothing, they both got a life of grief, I will give you the links to this, but what do you think of it? Do you really think our system is fair and what can we do about it if it is not?
