I'm writitng a story right now that many have said is very good, and I want to get it to a publishing company to see if I can make a book out of it. It's a dream of mine to have my own published work.

I was just curious. I'm going to stand in line to get my book, but I haven't actually purchased it yet. Is it possible to buy it when it releases at midnight or do I have to preorder it? If you could let me know, that would be great! :)

Ideally, I would like someone who did great work with charity, and that came from a less priviledged lifestyle. Thanks!

I'm a teenager, but write short stories with serious themes such as self-realization, global warming, things like that. Does anyone know a company that I could talk with about publishing my stories? Also, I'm looking for any experienced writer to look at my work and give suggestions. I really just need someone to take a look at my work and help me with editing/revising/improving.

I can't recall where we learn that Ravenclaw is blue and bronze with the eagle, Hufflepuff yellow and black with the badger. Can someone point me to where this info is in the actual books?

I know we broke up months ago,
But I still love you.
There’s something about you,
That I can’t let go of.
You’re the best thing that happened to me,
And if I explain why you’re the best thing that ever happened to me,
I’m afraid that I will break down and cry.

I know you’re probably thinking
That I should get over you,
But it’s hard to get over you
When everything reminds me of you.
You’re the one that I always think about,
And it’s hard to get over somebody
If they’re all you think about.

I would look right into your eyes,
And say what I just wrote.
But after knowing you,
You won’t understand
And you won’t care.

They say that ‘loving is hard, for our generation’. That it’s near impossible to find a kindred in this world of hostility, pain, strife and grief. Some aren't strong enough, they crawl back into their shells and live out their days with their backs to the world. I won’t call them cowards for that. Looking for love in the eyes of another takes bravery and uncommon audacity, I applaud the brave the audacious, I see them from my window walking dogs, strolling offspring, finishing each others sentences as if they are one cerebral fiber with volume at different ends. If you believe in god he must smile every time the phrase “soul mate” is used. He must watch them before they meet he must cringe when they cross the street when they are sick, and weak all the time hoping that nothing will stop them on there path to each other and then can we really imagine the joy god must feel when their eyes meet for the first time and he knows that they will never be apart again.

White people continue to argue well hey i did not own any slaves only my ancestors, therefore blacks don't deserve reparations. Well if thats the case then whats the reason for African American to be denied the 40 acres and a mule they were promised when they were the actual ones who were slaves back then. Thats because this capitalistic society is built off of slave labour and to give the working class of people reperations would totally go against this country's nature and economy. This reperations question is a class question. Free labour is how white americans achieved their status. ifree labour that made us wealthy in the first place. No I was never beaten or lenched ( well beaten by the police for no reason) but the wealth of this nation is built off of slavery. Our current business structure has an owner who makes a fortune and workers who make 7.00 dollars an hour. The slave plantation had an owner and a bunch of slaves who worked invented the cottin gin and sugar refiners.

I miss the times we used to have.
I miss the love we used to share.
But the one thing I won’t miss is loving you
Because I will never stop loving you.

I have read a bit on his philosophy and in the foreward of the book they imply that he was somewaht prejudiced against women & certain races. For him to be such a "deep thinker" it doesn't seem like he should be that ignorant. Is this true?

No that I'm against the book series, but it is not my cup of tea and it's frustrating to have to go through 12 Harry Potter questions to get to one non- Harry Potter question.

Just a suggestion,

If and when someone has ever pointed out the fact that humans are animals, too, does it offend you? I've found that some people are loath to be put into that category, although it's the scientific truth. Just because we happen to be animals of the highest intelligence, does not mean that we are not animals. And why would that be offensive anyway??
