I dressed up as Hermione last time, and my best friend dressed up as Dobby, and I had a SPEW badge on. I still have the costume, and I do sort of look like Hermione, but I was wondering if anyone had better suggestions.

I've always been under the impression that first edition printings of most hardcover books have that cool deckled fore-edge, where the pages look handcut and uneven. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this or if the deckled fore-edge is just an aesthetic choice?

My dance teacher is a really good teacher and we win lots of awards, but i'm terrified of her. She screams when someone messes up and yells and stomps her feet. She even throws shoes at ppl when we rehearse. HELP

I have wrote a couple of novels I want published but i'm a nobody and wanted to see what people would think of my writing style and if it needed some work... I then wrote two short stories that I have had on my mind for a while. Heres the question:

Does anyone know any short story magazines or what nots in NYC or in the US that you can send short stories to? Or even websites you can send short stories to? (and get criticized for your work)

And when trying to publish them, should you do it under a pen name at first or use your real name?

in 13 feb. 1945 Dressda was destroyed. There were 135000 civil victims, and gen. Harris wasn't responding for this. How was Germany accused by aggressive war, accused by Russia who was planning with Germany the way of war. Why not procreating an Iraq trial who adjudge Bush and Blair for war crimes ??? My fiance and I are getting Engagment pictures done. We are going to do them in a park/Garden type thing. Should we go jeans and a polo or jeans and a button up shirt.. i was thinking jeans and a white shirt. Either polo or button up... What else would look nice? They are going to be done at about 6pm so it wont be extremely bright out and hopefully some will be sunset pictures. Any advice? Thanks !
