Biblically, the first man to be murdered was Abel
Adam may not have been, according to the Bible, the first man to die as it says also that he lived 930 years (Genesis 5)
Speaking in terms of evolution, that question is impossible to answer because at what stage in development do we stop calling someone an ape and start calling them a human? Likewise, would we include neanderthals under the category of 'men'?

Whoever it was, Robert, it happened so far before any kind of recorded history that there is no way for us to ever know. He was a caveman, and lived approximately 200,000 years ago in what is now the African continent.

First ever? That would be Abel according to the Bible but if people were around before then as different artifacts and other things prove, then I really don not know.
