I dressed up as Hermione last time, and my best friend dressed up as Dobby, and I had a SPEW badge on. I still have the costume, and I do sort of look like Hermione, but I was wondering if anyone had better suggestions.

You could go as ANY ravenclaw. Pick one.

I think that's what I'm going to do for our bookstore release day (I work there).

At coles/chapters (and maybe other books stores) we sell a little time turner which actually has a sand timer (not just a picture). I' going to pick up one of those and then make a blue and silver house tie out of PVC plumbing tape (I found instructions at www.leaky-cauldron.org) A white shirt, grey vest and grey pants finish it off.

You could also do the same thing with Hermionie and make a gold/red tie.

You could wear big BIG dollar store glasses, tease up your hair really big and wear flowie clothes and go as prof. trelawny (sorry.. my spelling of names is bad)

Or get pink everything and a pink headband and go as umbridge (have scrolls that say "educational decree etc)

There are other ideas, but these are just a few.

I L-O-V-E it! Harry Potter is my previous, latest, and destiny. i've got been a fan considering i replaced into interior the forth grade, and now i'm a senior in extreme college. Harry Potter will in common terms be long previous from this worldwide while there are none who proceed to be that are dependable to it.

I think that if you still have the costume, go ahead and dress up as Hermione! She's one of the 'main characters' anyway!

:)

Hermione's a cool character and I'd stick to dressin up as her again. But if you really want a change, then I think Luna Lovegood would be a cool alternative...

What about the teacher that teaches them to read from the tea leaves and the crystal balls?! She's got those huge coke bottle glasses and the huge frizzy hair. I forgot her name but that would be different and interesting!
